  1. Eschalon: Book II impressions.

Hence "failing at reading". I think the "" were clear. But it doesn't matter. Fine, I am done. There is nothing to add regarding eschalon specifically at least. As for the time spent in the game being absurd in relation to the opinion I am sure plenty here extensively played a game they...
  2. Eschalon: Book II impressions.

Come on trash, you know it has got nothing to do with myself, positive or negative.. Its just the way of things, certain types of people I guess. And dont worry peeps, I replied because I got pissed, I might reply again or not, but worry not in any case when this thread is over you won't have...
  3. Eschalon: Book II impressions.

oh for fuck's ake. “A truly surprising twist of events. A poster makes a stupid post -> the poster's stupidity is pointed out -> the poster makes a weak denial attempt (is that what you think? it was a joke! i was role-playing! doing research for a thesis (ExMonk) -> the denial attempt...
  4. Eschalon: Book II impressions.

haha ok.. Tell you what... You know what I think this is my last post. It is fitting that it is a game post. I think this is last cRPG classic or not I will play for a long time. It is a very nasty habit that became a sort of addiction for me, that’s why I made a kind of angry post. And...

Oh is that what just happened? :smug:
  6. Eschalon: Book II impressions.

    You fail at reading.
  7. So, what exactly is cool about FF's Zepiroth?

What exactly is cool about wearing baggy pants with a waist or a crotch that almost falls to your knees or keeping your shoelaces untied? What is cool about ripping parts of your jeans? You shouldn't concern yourself with life's unsolvable mysteries Trash. It will consume you.
  8. Eschalon: Book II impressions.

The game is crap. I do not have enough sympathy towards cRPG indie developers to avoid recognizing that overall the game is a huge steaming pile of crap. Game mechanics and ruleset, character development in terms of statistics? This is a positive aspect to be honest. I did not...

  10. Interview Interview With Basilisk Games

Considering the movement speed issue Portal is a very useful spell, which makes playing an elemental mage or mage hybrid a good choice. But the quick travel locations are few and far between considering the size of the maps and the distances between them. Alot of unecessary back and forth...
  11. Any good games to play with Rhasody of Fire?

Is that one of them retro romantic medieval bs "power" metal bands? Something actiony like mentioned above, severance if you have the patience, maybe Rune, Mount and Blade vanilla or with a good mod. Or just do some head banging if you have long enough hair to do the spin thing while...
  12. Development Info DoubleBear ZRPG Design Update

Can't it be about both? :(
  13. So, let's make a list of hardcore games(not rpg).

Severance: blade of darkness. It was so hardcore I gave up and uninstalled, pretty hardcore though. And XCOM on a high enough difficulty setting is pretty hardcore too. So is mastering prince of persia 1 to the point of having tons of minutes left and... fuck this shit.
  14. Game News See how Final Fantasy inspires Dragon Age 2

Yeah but alot of those were probably just for decoration, ceremonies or tournament bs. But sure if some man can properly wield it why not make a sword with a blade as wide as a fatman's arm. Weaponsmith custom work.
  15. Interview Interview With Basilisk Games

If it didn't have the painfully slow walking speed punctuated by speed bursts when you are crossing certain open areas it would rate a solid 4 stars for me as far as Indies go, been playing it lately but I am starting to regret the time spent on it because of the slow character movement...
