The low-numbered representation of the Hivemind has spoken!

We should explore the Poo Mountain's interior!

co271.jpg

Moments after moving inside, Conker bumps into:

080. A lone survivor

co272.jpg

A mysterious shithand?

:/

This area looks... quite shitty.
We have to stick to the ledges, since the 'floor' is made of killer poo (it will suck Conker in and instakill him, if he falls down into it).

co273.jpg

Some yellow creatures live here despite the hazardous conditions.
There's also something interesting at the end of the ledge:

co274.jpg

Let's check out the yellow guys...

081. Sweet Corn

co275.jpg

What trickery is this?

:?

It looks like we have to hunt for the Sweet Corn:

co276.jpg

Watching out for a mysterious shithand, that will pop out from the poo-l:

co277.jpg

Luckily for Conker, it can make grabbing the corn easier (when it hits the corn instead of the squirrel).
But most of the time we should try to avoid it and use the Frying Pan to stun the little guys.
Let's do this:

082. A sacrifice

co278.jpg

Survival of the fittest, I guess...

:salute:

Nothing more to do here, we have to move to another area populated by corn.
The 'B' panels found in this stage are inactive (for now):

co279.jpg

Conker has to look out for the poo that drops from the ceiling:

co280.jpg

Next area has two specimens of corn. The shithand is present as well:

co281.jpg

:(

Conker sacrifices another corn:

co282.jpg

No cutscene this time. Third one goes down the poo-l as well.
Conker continues to the 3rd area, checking out the 'interesting' zone from before:

co283.jpg

TdT6D.jpg
Hey! Somebody over here!

A roll of cash and a flush, protected by a toughened glass?

:?

Oh well, let's sacrifice remaining corns and see what happens:

co284.jpg

Conker does just that.
And when he throws the final corn into the abyss...

083. The GMP

co285.jpg

Boss battle #2 begins!

:yeah:

What can he do? Well, he's a Poo of his word:

084. The Shitstorm

co286.jpg

What can we do? Well:

085. Fighting back

co287.jpg

We have to use the 'B' panel and start throwing rolls of toiler paper at him. We can destroy his projectiles that way, but also damage him directly (when he stops throwing and starts singing).
Easier wrote than done. After some quickloadan...

086. Phase Two

co288.jpg

He blocks the 'B' panel permanently so Conker has to move to different area (in the middle, where two corns were living).

co289.jpg

We have to repeat the throwing here, but this time:
a) he's a bit faster,
b) we have to hit him twice.

Which would be difficult, if not for quicksaves/quickloads.

co290.jpg

:smug:

When he eats two rolls of paper...

087. Phase Three

co291.jpg

You can probably see where this is going...
Only one 'B' panel left (near the entrance). He's much faster now and we have to hit him three times...

co292.jpg

And when we do:

088. Phase Four

co293.jpg

Only one thing left...

089. Run Conker, run!

co294.jpg

Boss battle #2 ends!

vI1hy.jpg

Well, wasn't that EPIC?!

:smug:

Conker grabs the cash:

co295.jpg

co296.jpg

And goes down into the pit:

co297.jpg

Luckily for him, the floor allows a soft landing...

He takes the new exit, when suddenly!

090. Berri-diplomacy, part 2

co298.jpg

The plot thickens!

We can control our furry hero again. There's a huge water reservoir in the new area:

co299.jpg

Going up is not possible:

co300.jpg

The wet path looks like an only way out. But it won't be easy:

co301.jpg

Yeah. It's some deadly shredding mechanism. Let's see how deadly it is...

091. Shredder

KnVYI.gif

It's very deadly indeed.
Actually, it's one of the hardest parts of the game...
If you don't have access to quicksaves, that is.

:smug:

Conker moves through three propellers:

co302.jpg

Finds a source of oxygen:

co303.jpg

And reaches the upper area. There's another propeller down below:

co304.jpg

We have to use a rope and reach the ladder, avoiding deadly blades:

co305.jpg

co306.jpg

co307.jpg

All of it without some time-shifting bullshit!

C59Gl.jpg

:rpgcodex:

Conker reaches the top of the shredding machine:

co308.jpg

The exit is nearby, but it is guarded:

co309.jpg

Let's try our diplomacy skills...

co310.jpg

092. A toll

co311.jpg

New Quest: Gather 1000$ to bribe guards at the bidge

:(

It's actually the first 'gate' in the game, with Mr Barrel being the 2nd - you have to gather enough money to proceed.
At least this time we know how much we need...
Let's go back to the room where we fought the GMP:

co312.jpg

co313.jpg

co314.jpg

co315.jpg

Exit isn't hard to find:

co316.jpg

It brings us to familiar place:

co317.jpg

Conker leaves the Cabin and checks his account:

co318.jpg

:(

It looks like it's time for moar money making!

We have two places we can visit:

A) The Barn (epic sex scene)
B) The area on the other side of the lake (manly boss)

Well, where should we go next?

Discuss!

A, let's leave the best for later. Also, will you show the many game over cutscenes? These were quite varied, depending how Conker died and where.

Option 'A' it is, BROs!

4WlnF.jpg

Conker goes back to the Barn area, climbs up the roof:

co321.jpg

And presses the button on the floor:

co322.jpg

The backdoor opens:

co323.jpg

Conker goes back to the ground level without problems:

co324.jpg

And moves inside, finding something p. neat:

093. The Hayfolk and the Neckless Rednecks (Frank, Reg and Ron)

co325.jpg

Conker checks out the surroundings:

co326.jpg

This looks like a 2nd floor or something.
The Hayguys are not hostile, BTW.
Being totally unaware of the situation, Conker moves close to the Trio:

co327.jpg

094. Trespassers will be ass-kicked

co328.jpg

Franky's 'hostile' flag just went on. It's time for:

095. Probably the crappiest ass-kicking in the history of gaming

co329.jpg

When all the Hayfolks are gone...

096. 'Leaving Forever'

co330.jpg

:facepalm.jpg:

Anyway - Conker can now use the switch in one of the corners (it wasn't operational when the Hayfolks were alive).

co331.jpg

Let's do that.

097. Unforeseen consequences

co332.jpg

Outside the Barn, Conker meets... Do I even have to introduce this guy?

co333.jpg

098. King Bee

co334.jpg

New Quest: Solve King's 'little problem'

Let's check out the sunflower:

co335.jpg

099. Flomance

co336.jpg

:(

It looks that Speech still isn't Conker's strong point. Let's try platforming.
We should start by checking out the little bees that left the building together with King Bee:

co337.jpg

100. Pacifists

co338.jpg

This is easy. We have to tow them close to the Green Bitch:

Pcxk4.jpg

101. Bee-charmer

co339.jpg

ijbJk.jpg

:salute:

Yes. The art of bee-charming isn't easy.
If you fall into the water or fall down from a high ledge, they will go back to the place where you found them.
But we need MOAR.

2nd group is easy to find - it's on the roof, near the switch:

co340.jpg

3rd group is near the cheese-corral:

co341.jpg

Now, the 4th group is the only one hard to find. You have to reach the top of the roof:

co342.jpg

And climb a ladder there (I've skipped this part earlier - we're going to visit it later):

co343.jpg

There's a huge water tank there, with an inactive 'B' panel:

co344.jpg

co345.jpg

It's a long way back:

co346.jpg

co347.jpg

Only one group left, the easiest one:

co348.jpg

Alrigth, the next video is for...

102. Mature Audience only!

co349.jpg

Quest: Solve King's 'little problem'

:smug:

It's time for some...

103. Platforming action

KnVYI.gif

:yeah:

But playing with boobs is not easy - you have to hit it three times (or more?) before you reach the cash.
It's much easier to activate a 'levitation' GameShark code:

104. Being gay

co350.jpg

Conker goes back down and decides to visit the 2nd floor of the barn:

co351.jpg

The infamous... bat country!

co352.jpg

See you next Thursday!

I like how insane but fun this game was, then I remember what happened to Rare nowadays and I feel very depressed :(

PS: So, do you have a gamepad or a joystick, spekkio? I remember some sections were pretty much impossible to do without one of these...

Holy fuck!

Do really I see some comments in this thread?

What are you talking about? They're making Kinect games. Can you be more mainstream than that? I don't think so...

Dual Shock 2 + USB PS2 -> PC converter. Force feedback doesn't work with my current mobo, but everything else works fine (WinXP). Tested this baby on Win7 64 bit and it works too, so I'm probably set till the gamepad falls apart. Which in case of old Sony controllers shouldn't happen soon - I've bought it ~2004 and it works fine till this day.

Like the final battle, for example?

I was expecting Conker to say something about the debauchery he just witnessed. Oh well, his expressions were awesome.

I'm following this too, btw, it's pretty awesome. I just suck at spotting pop culture references.

Also: updatan'?
