After another playthrough i think Rulers are a great addition to the mid game, early game is a bit easier tho, powerful weapons just right at start.

I guess probably the game will be even easier with the last Dlc cause of the new powerful class, we'll see.

Btw i really hope the game will be supported enough for a full expansion and other dlcs, this is the kind of game that can get infinitely richer with all addons to the main campaign.

I'm a bit worried because it sold 800.000 copies, not bad but not really great either considering the production value

I dunno why they are intent on the console push considering how poorly it sold last time around with so much effort put into selling on consoles, but hey, it's their money and time to waste.

I think with Gollop new game, Long War people new game and Xenonauts 2 coming we don't need more Firaxis poor attempts at making a really good Xcom game. I am sure one of these 3 games will deliver better. (and I am hopeful Hard West devs surprise us with their next game being a much larger and improved version of HW which would also be better than Firaxis's Xcom).

None of these 3 games will have that and Hard West was also very nice looking. I think you are just retarded.

Xeno 2 will go again with crap cold war setting, also 3d unity, low budget 3d will look like 90's 3d, like playing Dungeon Keeper or some of the first ps1 games. Art is guaranteed to be crap.

Long War game will take so long to be made (no details, they're still working on xcom 2) that you won't play it cause already dead

Gollop no details yet but the first screen is a Xcom 2 clone with crap brown palette and industrial unispiring setting.

Hard West is a different game in a different setting, nice game but different from ufo style feelings

Don't play Shadowrun with the expectation you'll do any significant tactical thinking, though. The TB combat in it is clearly designed to mimic XCOM but it's both much less robust (e.g. there's only XCOM-style waist-high-box cover, no doorway cover because they can't afford swing-out coding/animations, no cover destruction) and really shallow. It's OK as RPG "see what the character you've built can do" filler in short bursts.

Another thing that makes it more limited is that you usually start very close from your opponent, and don't have much room to maneuver.

We have a new mission in a new place, the ADVENT TOWERS, 2 buildings\skyscrapers linked by a skybridge, in which, along with Lily Shen on mission (specialist), we'll have to find the Shen Mec forgotten prototype.

In this mission there will be elevators and poisonous gas traps, and we'll encounter many enemy Mec, with a human-bot hybrid Sectopod as final boss.

New class (even if it was obvious) is a MEC.

Next expansion spoiler leaks:

2 new Biomes, Dungeons and Abandoned city:

the first are interiors underground things like Subway, Sewers, Tunnels, etc., the second i don't know exactly, maybe some sort of fallout city, dunno.

Also, there are huge ADVENT bases (called factories,a maybe where they produce robotic stuff) that will be related to some new gameplay, and lot of Coastal\Sea stuff, probably they want to do a TFTD theme for the Xpack.

Well, it's a robotic stuff for sure, expecially by REPAIR and OVERDRIVE names.

Those means to me fully robotic and no human, also they look like tank\support oriented on one side, and full offensive on the other perk tree
