Having stolen a large sum of jewgold recently, the thievan guild of Teron prepares to ditch the town, which is slowly becoming engulfed in anarchy. ITZ has certainly struck right after the successful theft.

A most disturbing sound wakes you up in the middle of the night. You run out of your bed and outside of your house located near the Center of Tbilisi, your neighbors Nino and Ioseb have also left their home.
What you see confirms your fears, what you hear is the sound of shells in the night, one which you will no doubt remember for the rest of your life. Tbilisi is burning.
: Bolsheviks! The Russians have come again!
The sky is lit up from the blaze consuming the city. But it is not the only thing illuminating the night. Stars fall from the sky leaving behind a long fiery trail before they explode upon impact. Bright beams of red and green light keep hitting buildings thus setting them ablaze.
: Bolsheviks? Unlikely, the Russians never had weapons like this.
: Who else would wage war upon us then? The Ottomans? They were just partitioned and crippled!
Suddenly an aircraft appears, not even during your time in the Tsar's Imperial army have you seen a similar machine. Fire is coming out its wings, yet it does not appear to be crashing down. It lands near you.
: Is that an airplane Lavrentiy?
The side door of the machine opens, soldiers wearing armor-like uniforms quickly jump out of it. One of them points a gun at Ioseb.
: What do you want Bolshevik dogs! Georgia is free, we will not be a pawn of Lenin!
They fire, beams of red light come out of their guns. They heat up the air in their path, one of the beams nearly hits your arm yet you can feel your skin burning from the heat. Ioseb and Nino are badly wounded, you start running.
: Argh!
: Leave us Lavrentiy, save yourself! Get men and weapons, defend our la...
I will fight... For Ioseb, Nino and Georgia.
At any rate talking is a bad idea unless you can pass the checks. Why? Because it moves you closer to the machete rape gang. Which would be tactically disadvantageous for Liberal and his archeran.

Splendid, now these two guys show up. If Liberal didn't bribe them but for example, used the forged document, he would have no option other than trying to get through the gate.
Still while this does cost him gold it is advantageous for a simple reason.
Sure he is leading us into an ambush. However that ambush, despite the amount of robbers present in it, is still an easier fight than the two armored guards and one crossbowman at the gate.
The persuasion option, if it fails, forces you to fight Iolus. Afterwards you still have to go through the gate. However a failed streetwise check still allows you to pick "1. Pay him" aftrwards so I go with that.

Liberal goes into the rabbit hole, hopefully it lacks american hares.
And here is the ambush mentioned earlier. Fightan time!
Due to a sudden attack of DERP I forgot to take screenshots in the first half of the battle. I recommend watching the video, it is a lot more complete and in HD
Also there is a lot more commentary in it. The music starts a bit later than usual so don't turn up the volume too loud by accident.
The rag-wearing scum is easy to kill. As of this screenshot 3 of them died. The main challenge here is the armored guard.
Liberal needs to kill the guard before he kills his thievan bros and gets into melee range of our dashing rogue. Therefore the best strategy is to kill the rag-wearing robbers as fast as possible so that your thievan bros focus on the guard and tank his damage while Liberal shoots him.
Eventually the fight turns into a 2 against one fight. Fortunately the surviving theivan bro is the one with the best combat stats. That guys is a killing machine albeit one with shitty defense apart from dodge.
And that marks the end of the final battle in the thievan guild demo quest line. Overall Liberal didn't need the SP put into dodge because he managed to stay out of weapons range.
Inclining stealan, although at this point it does not matter.
Liberal leaves Teron for good.

If you betray Feng and escort Cassius to Antidas feng resurfaces in Gahnezaar(sp). The same thing happens if Feng can't become Antidas' loremaster because Antidas gets killed by the Imperial Guard as part of their quest line.
I wonder how this affects thievan guild quests in Maadoran.
