The thing with shoutbox is, that it provides (provided) an alternative method of communication among the users of this very forum on this site itself, whereas those other methods of communication always present a certain hurdle for the members who are supposed to take part in it. And none of those will ever reach the convenience of having a handy shoutbox beside you, doesn't even matter much how "official" some of those may be called.
Besides, discord is structured in a very confusing way, and it became clear the moment i first entered a dicord chat that that place is made especially for "zoomers" and other similar folk...
Everyone knows it, there is no adequate replacement for shoutbox.

Because Discord is social media and bad. And Discord is the cause of the death of the shoutbox and is the source of all the drama that gets falsely blamed on the shoutbox, who didn't do anything wrong. 100% Haram.

Yeah. I don't really see it as being worse than anything else people use.

You could make an argument that the discord staff are a bunch of dicks, but that rarely has an effect on most small servers.

I've read enough threads to see attention whoring, manipulation/crying victim, or just pure white knightknighting.

I don't give a fuck about degeneracy though as long as it's out of my personal life, but if you're gonna be like that at least post something of value for once in your life whore.
