From that screenshot, how does this dialogue system differ from others where skillchecks are used?

I presume because, as you can notice, you can select different party members with different skills have a saying in the dialogue.
Can't offhand remember where I saw it, but this isn't unique to NWN 2.

EDIT: above, ah, ok, that sounds nice.

let's keep asses outside this thread, unless related to WL2.

Fargo just tweeted about prepping a kickstarter update for the first screenshot!

Agreed. There's a perfectly fine BUTT thread in GD for all your posterior needs.
Looking forward to the update. Soon we will be able to go "Looks like turd filter with extra bloom" :bounce:

That's not so cartoony. Just a tad stylized. That said, at this point they're no doubt using tons of placeholder art downloaded from the Unity library thing.

Look pretty crappy. Probably a lot if it is due to oversaturated colors. Otherwise it's fine, I guess.

I have feeling that Wasteland 2 might suck. Hell, I want it to suck for some reason.

Hell, I want it to suck for some reason.

That's an interesting approach. And the reason would be... ?

Possible answer: He's grown up and finds it hard to get into gaming like he used to, and shittiness of games gives an excuse to not play them, without having to feel guilty about the loss of one's youthful vigor.
