I hope they confirm Ciri as the protagonist of Twitcher 4 so I can erase this game's existence from my mind (I never play games with female protagonists).

CD Projekt says Witcher 4 production phase to start this year, AI will play a role in its development

But the technology won't replace people, apparently

Badowski said CD Projekt has formed a team to see how the technology can be applied to the Witcher 4, though he suggests it will be used to improve processes rather than create something players could notice, like generated assets. He also insisted it won't lead to job losses, which is hard to believe.
The executive also addressed the horror that was the Cyberpunk 2077 launch. The Witcher 4 will no doubt generate as much hype as the Keanu Reeves-starring blockbuster, and Badowski wants to make sure it avoids the problems Cyberpunk 2077 had when it arrived. He believes the company has learned the lessons of the past and now has better control of the production process.

"We believe that in the future we'll avoid a premiere like the one we faced with Cyberpunk 2077", Badowski said.

Speaking of Cyberpunk 2077, those eagerly looking forward to its sequel, codenamed Orion, are going to have a long wait. Badowski said the game is still in the conceptual phase, though CD Projekt expects to have around 80 people working on it by the end of the year. His co-CEO Nowakowski said there could be multiplayer elements in the game, but would not elaborate.

Witcher 4 coop mode could be interesting, like two witchers doing a contract. Other than that dont see how they could mesh it in the game so it doesnt look out of place and nags you with retarded ubisoft like spam. Imagine you are doing a particularly hard monster hunt quest and then at the notice board, you just write that you are looking for another witcher for the job, you get then short cutscene where all players who wants to join you introduce their character and then you agree/disagree to join.

Yes, it also needs Raids where you can cooperate with 50 other Witchers to kill legendary Bosses and get EPIC loots, and also mass pvp battles of 100 vs 100 Witchers doing capture the flag to earn the SWAG pointz used to customize your Witcher - preorder includes the Nicki Minaj Witcher skin!

Srsly tho, the coop comment was about Cyberpunk sequel, not Witcher, which is much more suitable for that, but still, adding multi/coop to any RPG-adjacent games is always cancer, hate this shit.

Coop is fun with friends nigger but you first gotta have those.
If I want to fuck around with friends in MP, there is literally an endless supply of multiplayer focused games, built specifically for that from the ground up. Adding some retarded coop/multi mode to RPGs is for zoomer faggots with no attention span, who can't focus and enjoy a single player game, without another zoomer faggot screaming in their ear. Go play BG3 and keep that retarded shit out of other games, nigger.

That's cool and all, but more importantly: how many real life celebrities and e-celeb-literallywhos as ingame characters?

You play as Keanu as a new Witcher called Keanu.

It will blow everyone's mind. At the end you actually find out that Alvin is Jacques de Aldersberg. It will be great.

But first a cool trailer in 2025. for a game that will come out in 2043.

Speaking of, imagine CDPR signing up Cavil for the role of a new Witcher character. There is a massive marketing win

Supposedly Cavil's a diehard Witcher fan. Or became one for the roll he had from what I remember reading. Still is or not, don't know.

Yes. He got onboard with the franchise exactly with Witcher 3, so he is likely very much in tune with CDPR's direction. If they sign him on, which seems quite a logical thing to at least try on their part, and they let him bring his ideas to the character, the way they let Keanu do, we can have a rare combination of AAA and quality. All because at least someone worked with passion, and not just for the paycheck.

Also think of all the irony of Cavil being cast as Geralt in a failed TV show, backed by Sapkowski no less, and then hitting it big by orders of magnitude in another CDPR game  Lauren Hissrich (who basically chased him away from the show) will shit herself.

Tomek Baginski, CDPR aparatchik in Witcher series production, agreed with removing Cavill from the series, and called replacement "lore accurate".
Cavill seemed to care more about staying true to Witcher lore than Baginski and CDPR.
Never say never, but I wouldn't hold my breath for Cavill and CDPR to collaborate again.

Yeah, Baginski has long been more of a Netflix aparatchik than anything else. He even started directing shitty movies like Knighs of Zodiac. Why this wasn't streight to streaming and had to bomb in cinemas first is beyond me.

And CDPR's vision of Witcher was much more fidel to the books than anything clowns at Netflix made.

I knew a guy who worked with Bagiński.
And he mentioned once that Bagiński unironically thinks that movies like "Transformes" are peak art. Supposedly, it's some kind contrarian reaction caused by dreary depressing Polish cinema.

Well, it's much easier for CDP to understand what "medieval Poland but with magic, vampires and modern potato women" is than for Am"but muh racism and sexism"icans.
