There's plenty of bastards in TW world, no need to pick a race and debate why it's worse/better then others.
They are all assholes.
It still ends up with a black and white picture where humans (I.E., whites) are psychotic and evil (except for the ones who are unsympathetic towards their own race)
It's actually not grey, but evil vs terrorism. Also one out of many choices isn't grey!
Sounds like grey to me...Here's how the equation works:
Humans = black, but with lot of white in it.
Non-humans = white, but with a lot of black.
Actually dragons are shown as a good guys. There are only two of them shown, but the first one was the most positive and idealistic character in the books, and the second one is the most positive and idealistic character in the first two games and it would probably leave that way in the third one. There's plenty of bastards in TW world, no need to pick a race and debate why it's worse/better then others.

what the fuck, I thought you werent one of themException that proves the rule trolololo.
Here's how the equation works:
Humans = evil in principle, but with lot of good individuals.
Non-humans = Good in principle, but with a lot bad apples.
Its obvious that siding with the humans was the "evil" choice of the game.

Also I didn't see any reason to side with witch in the end if first act. Only priest dude was more guilty than her. And siding with villagers makes boss fights much easier, since they buy you enough time for buffing yourself. And priest dude could be dealt with after the fight. It isn't very Geralt way of action, but Geralt wouldn't go into battle without preparations in the first place.
what about Triss, is she ugly too?
I have never seen a plain looking woman that couldn't be turned beautiful OMG BEST SUPPORTING ROLE OSCAR FOR YOU with a good make up.One thing that bugged me about that trailer is that they called Yennifer beautiful, when she is supposed to be (if not ugly) at the very least a plain Jane. The books make it clear that only plain Jane or ugly women tend to become sorceresses, kind of like how today it's mostly plain women you will find in engineering majors. Of course there are exceptions to the rule, but Yennifer used magic to hide her physical defects/flaws kind of like magical make up.
Triss isn't really mentioned in the books. She comes much later on in the story.
The second book is the bunch of short stories, right? "Sword of Destiny"? I read a fan translation and do not recall Triss, what does she do? From Blood of the Elves it's clear Geralt knows her already, but I don't know how from the three books I read (Last Wish, Sword and Elves). I read a bunch of spoilers at some point as well, and don't recall if I learned about it then either. Witcher Wiki only has info from the games.Triss isn't really mentioned in the books. Not really. She is at he start of second book but that book as i am aware was not translated to english yet and publisher for books decided to translate 1 and then 3rd book which is super weird.
Imo i think people who didn't read books think Tris had some major role in TW saga. She was just best friend of Yennefer and by her she met Geralt which she got hot for. She was secondary character.
