Waa, Spoony's being mean and angry again, and he's banning people. And he took my lolly. It's my site, ban-meat. I'll do the fuck I want.
To all the trolls out there on my forum and website, this is not the time to fucking test me. I will hatefuck you with my banhammer.
:D:DSpoony is a big wrestling fan and respects the Ultimate Warrior as a wrestler, at the same time he makes fun of his political views. Its like, you know, liking Arnold Schwarzenegger as an actor but disliking him as a politician. Also, surprise, making fun of people who just died may seem inappropriate to some people. And what the hell has any of that to do with fucking Hitler?
But he was a horrible wrestler, one of the most untalented and ungrateful guys (despite being pushed to the moon) ever, an embodiment of all that is wrong in how talent was/is promoted in WWF and WCW in the 80s and 90s. Every one trashed him all the time, untill he died and suddenly people started paying tribute to him and saying what a great guy he was.Spoony is a big wrestling fan and respects the Ultimate Warrior as a wrestler, at the same time he makes fun of his political views. I still can't over the fact that channel awesome reviewers make a living by criticizing the works of other people but can't stand any one criticizing the much worse writing, acting and jokes that goes on in their inane circlejerky cutaway gags. Those people are neurotic. It's just hilarious how some one like the Nostalgia Critic does not understand how he destroys all of his credibility as a critic when he himself insists on making unfunny "movies" with his friends, where he shows to the world that he himself hasn't got any talent what so ever for writing and producing a "movie".The one thing with him that I just can't get over is his thin skin when it comes to the Internet discussions. I mean, you'd think this guy would be at home at Codex but he would go insane from the rude language, swearing, insults, from the negative views on everything and from the constant criticism. He sorta lives in his bubble and ain't nobody fkin trolling him there!
I think he's mentioned somewhere that he's bipolar. Which would explain everything.Isn't he on medicine all the time?
herpderp
They are movies he makes for fun, and allow people to watch freely... you can't really compare that the expectations and finesse of a movie made by Hollywood you've paid to watch on the cinema... Is the equivalent of looking at our RPG Maker competition and saying that I can't criticize BioWare, because I made an entire game about becoming a dragon.I still can't over the fact that channel awesome reviewers make a living by criticizing the works of other people but can't stand any one criticizing the much worse writing, acting and jokes that goes on in their inane circlejerky cutaway gags. You do know it is possible to respect or even like someone and still make fun of them, right? Comedians do that. And I reject your premise - Spoony's memorial to the ultimate warrior was not a sudden turnaround from his years of making fun of the guy, but a natural response to the death of a nostalgic figure from his childhood who was, in hindsight, incredibly silly and easy to make fun of.If you start showing respect to a man whom you've ridiculed for years as soon as he dies because supposedly dead people should some how be safe from spite and ridicule, then by the same logic people should stop bad mouthing Hitler as he is also dead. It's a completely backwards way of thinking as people who don't exist couldn't possibly feel insulted or hurt by such comments where as ridiculing, mean spirited comments and ostracization can actually lower the life quality of a living person. No impact vs negative impact. Hentai with underaged characters vs real child porn. It's a cop-out, typical hypocrite behavior that aims to make the person in question (in this case Spoony) feel good about themselves and morally vindicated. Like having an expensive funeral when your grandparent dies even though you never visited that person or gave a shit about them when they lived. Where as your actions could've had a positive influence on the quality of life of that person back when he/she was alive, any gesture you make when he/she is dead won't have any effect what so ever and is therefore self-gratification disguised as symbolism.

Edgy as fuck.
Yes, I'm the one who's edgy because I don't insult people/act like a politician. Only other explanation for that kind of behavior is that he believes in some African voodoo and thinks that insulting the dead will anger the rain Gods.Edgy as fuck.
But there needs to be some logical consistency. It has nothing to do with grief, it's about the principle. If you believe that dead people should be off limits for making jokes, then you should adhere to that rule and respect it, rather than only following it when ever it's convenient for you. If you blindly follow self imposed restrictions like that for no logical reason, you're irrational. If you only follow them when ever it's convenient for you but don't really respect those boundaries, then you're a hypocrite. Either a religious nutjob or some one who exploits religion. Also, there's a large difference between the man called history's greatest monster and a silly wrestling figure. Grief for the dead doesn't need to apply equally to every person who has died, is dying, or will die. Obviously we tend to care more about the people we know.
I'm pretty sure that Spoony makes his living off of his videos, as hard at it's to believe given his relatively small fanbase and infrequent output. Of course I don't except the kind of production values from those people (though many internet reviewers have quite good editing and special effects), but if you make a living of criticizing the writing of other people, then you'd better not be a horrible writer yourself. It's not even a matter of "well if you think you're so good, do it yourself", but subjecting your audience to inane, unnecessary, cringe worthy horse manure like Kickassia. And don't tell me "you dont have to watch it if you don't like it" because they advertise those videos on their page and try to use the fanbase they've created through their regular content to get more exposure to those side projects. They are movies he makes for fun, and allow people to watch freely... you can't really compare that the expectations and finesse of a movie made by Hollywood you've paid to watch on the cinema... Seriously? "Evil marketing made me watch things I didn't want, I have no free will and it's everyone's fault but mine!" What you want, a law forbidding people to advertise their own work if it's shitty? And don't tell me "you dont have to watch it if you don't like it" because they advertise those videos on their page and try to use the fanbase they've created through their regular content to get more exposure to those side projects.
