So here I am playing MotB finally...

Thanks for telling me what you think Disc.
OK, I'm apparently the unfunniest human being alive. But at least you recognised I was trying, unlike the "I'm so straight I want babes in potato sacks" reply (which was pretty funny by the way, Lurker).

Huh? All I said was, I perfer my role playan games with women who wear more realistic armor then chainmail bikinis. I'm not going to get my rocks off to horribly animated elf tits anyways. If I wanted porn, I'd download porn.

Don't we have a whole seperate topic here about some game called Witches (or something like that) which is just the Codex laughing about this shit?

Because that's how they pronounce it.

Oh, yes.. english is definitely a terribly stupid language (especially when it comes to writing it).

It vud definitli bi beter tu vrajt hau ju pronauns. Der vud bi no eksepshions.
See.. the average englishman is too filled with his crappy language rules to understand what I wrote - but any other person whose mother tongue uses the write as you speak rule (the vast majority of languages) would have no problem understanding what I wrote. Unless he's stupid.

First step would be to raise kids to understand the International Phoenetic Alphabet. The big obstacle would be words that are pronounced the same, but spelt differently.

Example: They're/their/there, Eye/Aye/I and so on.

Or we could just make everyone learn L337 5Nd B3cUM t3h UB34 L337 H4xx0rz. 3h WU5rld 1zt Ui\/iT3d 4t La5t!!!!!

Example: They're/their/there,

Hmm?

Dejr(Dej ar - better!)/Deir/Der

It doesn't seem to me these words are pronounced the same way.
The solution would be to change how they're pronounced. Very simple. :)

I don't really know how to explain the sound "j" to an englishman. It surely is not 'J'am.
Jam would be Džem or Đem.
Maybe like y in yogurt. But then.. I don't remember if I've ever heard an englishman pronounce yogurt.

Oh.. and another thing... the usage of so many different past tenses - ridiculous. One would be more than enough - since nothing can be more accurate than actually pointing the time when a certain thing occured. I have driven .. I drove.. I was driving.. I bla bla shit.
And we're talking about a language in which you can't even tell the sex of the person you're talking with.
In my language when someone says, for example: I ate an apple - you know if you're speaking with a male or a female. Because ate has different forms for male/female/neutral.
I ate an apple:
Pojeo sam jabuku. (male)
Pojela sam jabuku. (female)
You can even tell by adjectives.
I am happy:
Sretan sam. (male)
Sretna sam. (female)
Hehe.. english language was not meant for the internetz.. it seems croatian is more modernistic. :)

J is like Y from "Yes".

I know.. I wrote that on purpose to show them how we're more intelligent and have 1 sign for every letter. ;) I mean - every letter has a specific sound which is always the same. There are little variations of course - in the accent, accentuation..
A is A. U is U. E is E. I is I. O is O.
And there are no double letters, with few exception: For example when two words come together. Najjači - the strongest. Jak = strong. Naj = prefix for superlative.

From MotB to the English language.

Anyways, the likelihood of bethsoft changing the formula in an expansion, as we all know, is slim to none. However, there is always wishful thinking. Maybe miracle thinking in this case.

After all, they wouldn't want to detract from their FPS with orcs too much. Especially when the fan base the game is pointed towards seems to have about as much intelligence as the super mutants they're putting into their game.

Hello mini-fart! Sorry, I won't contribute to your project "send as much threads to retardo land as possible". So farewell my little friend.

O hai so i has a questian.
I'm past the part with the Nine Hags and I got pretty nice weapon, Dream Dagger or something like that. It says that it can change into any weapon my character can use and that's pretty sexy because I have a weapon master who specializes in bastard swords. But that damn dagger doesn't even have an option to morph into bastard sword. Greatsword, longsword, other useless shit, but no bastard sword. Bug or a small 'fuck you' from devs?

I've found bastard sword +3 in the beggining and that's the only decent bs I've found.

As for the MotB "sexy" add-on, I assume you're talking about the one that reverts some of the graphic changes back to how they were in NWN2.

The only goal of this mod is to show more skin on female models and it's the motherfucking second most popular thing in the top ten hakpacks.

Not surprised, this game has fucking woefull character art.

Laziness. They didn't want to create 16 or so more forms for the thing.

It doesn't matter, though. Crafting is so overpowered that you can make better swords than that. You've still got Safiya handy, right?

Not knowing any language besides English, besides light study of Latin, I have trouble imagining a language with only one past tense. How would you denote a past action that occured at the same time as another past action? Also, doesn't Croatian have pluperfect and imperfect tenses?

In my language when someone says, for example: I ate an apple - you know if you're speaking with a male or a female. Because ate has different forms for male/female/neutral...

It seems rather strange to be touting outdated male-female-neuter word forms while telling us your language is more modernistic, especially after calling English too complicated. The speakers gender shouldn't be communicated in half the words they use, anymore than their race, religion, or political affiliation(the latter two options being far more useful information than gender, unless you want to hit on an anonymous person via the internet). And male-female-neuters are SO last Roman Empire. :P
