As much as 7 is appealing to me, we haven't practiced enough for a feat like that.
I'm torn between 2 and 3.
But 2 means that they may try and take our sword.
So I choose

3 - I want to be a polyglot and to know language and customs of my friends and/or enemies
While learning to forge meteoric iron sounds tempting I doubt there will be enough resources to use this knowledge in practice (save for maybe a few items)
Learning basics of their language can potentially help in dealing Grey Children and maybe with other tribes...

A tie between 3, welcome the hospitality of the natives and learn their language while waiting for the ship to return and 4, accept Grey Child's offer to teach Freyjanna how to smith meteoric iron.

This needs one more vote to break it.

And then it can continue on towards one destination, unless you vote on giving up the hunt for Narackamous later of course, and this destination obviously is:

Hmmm flop to iron 4, always wanted to make radiated armour.

Well, I haven't been following this for some time (not sure why), but I'm going to jump right back in, I'll probably read what I missed later.

1B - well if we are going to play conquistadors we might as well look the part; shame we don't have gunpowder
2B - more meatshields allies; we should be able to find some natives that don't care for Narackamous or his allies (I hope at least); anyway, starting a war with kill-them-all policy will only make the native population resist us even more fiercely, because surrender is not an option

Well, do we even know their language? Charging after this guy through the jungle could be asking for trouble even if they are not hostile to us right now, so maybe a more cautious approach would be better here. But what the hell, neither the swamplands nor going in the thick jungle blind really appeals to me. Maybe these people could give us some info at least.

Yeah, well, might be an ambush, but I'd also like to see what this native is about.
