I think it's already said in this thread or somewhere else, in Japan, PC gamers are considered as either porn gamers or MMO players. It's not common that normal Japanese person having a personal computer in home, let alone gaming computer.

Thanks to Steam and PlayerUnkown's Battlegrounds (yes, it's getting popular in Japan despite being only on PC. It even got an homage in a recent TV anime) Japanese Steam players are growing and more Japanese games are coming to Steam, but looks like it's still not enough.

Not to mention that this is the homeland of console companies. There's A LOT of Steam games locked in Japan... wanna buy Final Fantasy VII, Tales of Berseria, Attack on Titan, Dragon Quest Heroes II or Dragon Ball Xenoverse 1 & 2? You can't, they're all blocked.

The good news is that we know what problems remain and, for the most part, they’re the kind of normal QA issues one would expect. The bad news is that we’re pushing Zwei: The Ilvard Insurrection’s release back into fall.

My favorite Final Fantasy was the first. I bought it as a small child fro the NES when it first came out. When I was a child I enjoyed many child things. Like spinning around for no reason and making castles out of sand. Then I grew up and so did my tastes. Now I like games which kids cannot figure out nor play because they are too complex and made for adults.

I was not a very smart child. I hated reading the Iliad for school. Hell, I even hated reading easy reads like "Of Mice and Men." I did love Godfather and Shogun as a teen. Because of all the sex. As an adult I thing they are both excellent works of fiction but find the sex gratuitous. I've never read Harry Potter or twilight because I have no interest as an adult in things made for kids. Not hopscotch, or jacks, or playing fish or Mouse Trap, or Final Fantasy or Pokeman or giving other people purple nurples or titty twisters.

I do very much enjoy super hero movies. But I in no way fool myself into thinking my love of super hero movies is adult or in good taste. Super hero movies are kid shit. I know that. I'm honest about it. But at least super hero movies don't have kiddie porn shit in them or a fan base that thinks their movies are serious works. Its stupid shit for people who have poor child-like taste in movies. Fluff movies devoid of complexity or substance. In fact, complexity and substance would ruin the movies. Watch "The Dinner" if you want to see a movie with some substance.

This site is supposed to be about serious rpg discussion. And no one can argue that jrpgs are not made to be accessible and appealing to kids. Jrpgs are always console games and always made for kids.

A forum for them on this site should be offensive to this community as a forum for super hero movies on a prestigious and adult movie critique site. The fact that this site has almost no serious, adult rpg discussion, and is the Disney to rpgwatch's Nickleodeon, seems like it should bother more people than me. The fact that almost all the community thinks they are posting on a serious site but talking about pokeman and sand castles and cabbage patch kids is far more disturbing. It is obvious yet over the head of every one. And when someone tries to make a forum specifically and only for serious rpg discussion the idea is shit on and hated and shot down.
