...and some random weather effects (stormy clouds) could be implemented as well. If I remember correctly time is going to be valuable too. I wouldn't mind a little bit mini-game, finishing quests to avoid failure.

It might actually provide some semblance of a working economy. I doubt it, but it has potential. Maybe have some optional bosses/content which are very far away from land and you need a looooot of supplies to get there. There's an idea for a money sink.

Note that he hasn't said you die or get a game over if you run out of food and water. :M It could just give you a starvation stat penalty or something.

Or a simple penalty to crew morale.

Though crew morale could function similar to how the prestige/security stats worked for the Keep, and limit the amount of "events" you get.

Or just force you to go back to the dock you came from. Or the nearest available dock, but that's ripe for exploits. Debuffs might also work if you can't get rid of them unless you rest in an inn.

I want to have my party become cannibals and brutalize the crew. I'll declare myself a living god, the embodiment of Buddha, Jesus, and Shiva all wrapped into one and feast on the flesh of my lessers.

... a line PoE1 crossed... I'm not worked up about gays specifically, but how they go about advertising it.
They advertised it?
Bioware certainly do.
Suddenly we are talking about Bioware?

Gaming is indeed the domain of the Outraged Warriors.

Combat is still below average, and that's on a good day, and always will be while it's relying on 1/10 sec as a unit of measurement of actions, because that's not a unit of time suited for RtwP combat.

The new resting is now decline, after it was "an improvement" over PoE's resting? That's news.

The modal abilities of weapons look very good on paper, hopefully they will also feel like they have an actual effect in the game.

The line PoE1 crossed is "if you can't write good characters or a good story, don't try to be deep", not the gays thing.
