There are main servers (NA, EU, etc.) and shards are within those servers. So you have to be on the EU main server to get onto the Bloodiron shard

Apparantly, as a basis, you cannot invite Defiants to join Guardian guilds on PVP servers. HOWEVER, if one of your own guardian characters invites your own defiant character, YOU CAN.
So any defiants who want to join the guild, here's what you do:
1) Make a mock guardian character.
2) Join the guild.
3) Get promoted to Member (thus being allowed invite others to the guild)
4) Invite you own defiant character to the guild
5) Log into your defiant character and join the guild
That's... really strange. But it works!
Still, the chance of a server switch @F2P launch is big.

Just went to bed, so can't invite you before late tomorrow unless I can get RIFT working on my laptop.

You only need a mock guardian to invite your own defiant.
Server switch still a thing after F2P. Will probably make a poll about it or something. Transfering the guild is quite easy, and upon transfering, all members who also transfer are automatically added to the guild.
Anyway, I'm studying, studying, studying. When I get home late tonight I'll invite you and pounder.
