Resident Evil 5, Dead Rising 2 and Off The Record coming to Steamworks
If you're a fan of smashing zombies (and/or zombie-like Majini) on your PC, then we've got some good news for ya - RE5, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record are all coming to Steamworks early next year. With the global popularity of the Steamworks platform, we’ve seen high demand from fans to bring these highly requested titles to this platform. Moving to Steamworks will allow more fans across the world to enjoy these games.
Current owners of these PC titles will be transitioned over to the Steamworks versions early next year. Once we have specific dates ironed out, we'll have more information about all three titles and their respective launch days so stay tuned.

After some tweaks - yes.
I played Die by the Sword & DungSiege3 + one that was supposed to be unplayable but forgot name now - on kb+m so watch out for my words.

We're pleased to announce that next month it will be possible for players to migrate their Dark Souls: Prepare to Die games, saves and achievements from the Games for Windows Live platform to Steam.
-Games for Windows Live users will be able to redeem their Games for Windows Live Tokens on Steam to get Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition at no additional cost. (To find your Games for Windows Live Token, please head to the support webpage: http://bit.ly/1t6kfvm)
-In the month of November, there will be a period by which Games for Windows Live Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition users will be able to transfer their Save Data (characters + progress) and Achievements over to their Steam accounts.
-Players will still be able to use their Games for Windows Live Tokens to redeem the Steam version of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition at no additional cost even after the migration period ends; but game Save Data and Achievements transfer functions may not be available.
-Games for Windows Live Rankings will not be transferred to Steam.
The specific migration start and end dates will be available soon; however the migration period will begin sometime in November 2014 with more specific dates to come.
We will be sharing more information soon regarding the migration process soon, so stay tuned!

As Dexter already mentioned, you can register retail copies of Dark Souls on Steam already. I have done this some time ago. Still waiting to GFWL to be removed before I play, because I do not want to lose my progress.My copy of dark souls is actually free of the steam taint anyway. I don't know if they'll ever actually shut GFWL down, but it's possible that Namco-Bandai will give you a Steam key for your retail version.

UPDATE 26th NOVEMBER:: The migration from Games for Windows Live to Steam has been delayed slightly to December, announced Bandai Namco in the Steam forum.
"We are working hard to finalize the process to move your Dark Souls: Prepare to Die saves and achievements to Steam. We need to conduct additional testing and we are now targeting December to begin this process. We'll have more information in the coming weeks. Thank you very much for your patience!
