This is the worst writing I have ever read. And that including Squad Broken.

How can something so horrible make more success than the vanilla shit?

I refuse to believe there are people so idiotic they bought this only because of a meh chick like Felicia Day.

GAIDER DECIDES WHAT DEAD REALLY MEANS!!

Quick everyone send this to every defense attorney around the world who has (accused) murderers for clients. It's an impervious legal defense.

Dude, nerds go apeshit over OK-looking girls who like video games. I thought this shit was well-known. You see this sort of thing all the time in nerdier, male-dominated subcultures. I love heavy metal, so let me just use that as an example. In any given metal concert, a girl who is a total dog is upgraded to passable, a passable girl becomes a beautiful girl and a beautiful girl becomes Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct.

:what:

I know this is the Codex and stuff, but I think it's the worst skeleton mesh this side of Hexen 2.

wa... what? Isn't this a cutscene? What's the big A doing there? :/
We need someone crafty to make a slideshow out of those screens, with an avalanche of 'A's rolling through.

face-tallis.jpg
Right, done with the wyverns... and various nonsense. Back to the chateau?
face-hawke62.jpg
We're here for a reason. Let's take care of it.

da2lp63-01.jpg

face-tallis.jpg
I'm with you.

Hawke and Tallis changed their clothes. Unfortunately, the rest of the party couldn't attend the celebrations.

da2lp63-02.jpg

face-tallis.jpg
I had a quick look around. There's one door into the castle that isn't under heavy guard...
face-bethany.jpg
And?
face-tallis.jpg
I can't get it open. And believe me, I tried. Bent a nice set of lockpicks in that stupid door.

da2lp63-03.jpg

face-hawke63.jpg
Give me a minute alone with this guard. I'll get the key.
face-tallis.jpg
No murders! Or clobbering. Or whatever you're thinking.
face-tallis.jpg
It'll be hard enough getting out of here without some servant finding a corpse stuffed into an armoire.
face-bethany.jpg
We shouldn't all go together. These snooty nobles will make a scene.
face-hawke63.jpg
Tallis and I will go mingle. Get someplace safe and wait for our signal.
face-tallis.jpg
Let's see what we can find out. Come on!

Indeed, let's accept Prosper's gift.

da2lp63-04.jpg

Minor nobles were relentless in trying to lick his ass.

da2lp63-05.jpg

da2lp63-06.jpg

face-prosper.jpg
Ahhh! At last, the hero of the hunt!
face-prosper.jpg
The Champion of Kirkwall has the honor of first kill this day!

The crowd cheered.

da2lp63-07.jpg

face-prosper.jpg
To hunt the wyvern on its own ground is to tempt fate: a terrible risk. But the prize...
face-prosper.jpg
I present to you this belt crafted of fine wyvern skin. Wear it well, and accept the accolades you are due.
face-hawke63.jpg
Let's get to the celebration.
face-prosper.jpg
Impatient for the feasting? I can hardly blame you!

Sudden powerful roar turned attention away from the Champion.

da2lp63-08.jpg

da2lp63-09.jpg

Yeah, another boss monster to kill.

face-prosper.jpg
Do not mind Leopold. My pet is always so temperamental before dinner.
face-hawke63.jpg
I wouldn't expect a wyvern hunter to keep one as a pet.
face-prosper.jpg
He is a great asset on the hunt. Wyverns are drawn to the scent of their own kind.
face-prosper.jpg
My friends, I officially welcome you all to Chateau Haine! Enjoy a taste of Orlesian hospitality!

da2lp63-10.jpg

What a beautiful fountain. These things exist for stupid youngsters to throw random stuff in. Hawke is pretty conservative and will use nothing but fancy coins.

face-hawke63.jpg
The famous wishing fountain at Chateau Haine.
face-hawke63.jpg
Mother had a whole collection of these Orlesian Caprice coins she wanted to cast in there.
face-tallis.jpg
She wanted to throw away a coin collection in the fountain? Why?
face-hawke63.jpg
It's some sort of high-society game. The more coins you can throw away, the more important you are or something.
face-hawke63.jpg
It's very... Orlesian. I didn't ask.

So there is still a matter of getting inside the castle proper. Let's start with probing guards.

da2lp63-11.jpg

face-guard1.jpg
Is something the matter?
face-hawke63.jpg
This is rubbish. What self-respecting nobleman would dine outdoors at this time of year?
face-tallis.jpg
They would never do something so common in Val Royeaux! I insist we go inside at once!
face-hawke63.jpg
I cannot believe you would make us stand outside like cattle!
face-tallis.jpg
Or trees! Or buildings! Or other things that stand outside!
face-guard1.jpg
Don't make such a fuss. I'll let you into the parlor. You can take up the issue of hospitality with the duke himself.
face-tallis.jpg
Let me handle him. As soon as I have the key, we can signal the others.

Poor Hawke was forced to wait alone.

da2lp63-12.jpg

face-tallis.jpg
Do they give those to all the chevaliers? So impressive!
face-hawke63.jpg
Lovely party.

da2lp63-13.jpg

face-hawke63.jpg
Well?
face-tallis.jpg
He doesn't have it.
face-hawke63.jpg
What?
face-tallis.jpg
He "forgot" he'd given the key to one of the servants. What kind of guard forgets that he's locked himself out of the castle?
face-hawke63.jpg
No use standing here. Let's search.
face-tallis.jpg
Right, Nothing to worry about. This can still work.
face-tallis.jpg
So let's find this servant. How many could there be?
face-hawke63.jpg
Urge to kill. Rising.
face-tallis.jpg
Try one of the canapes. Clear that right up.

Eh, there was like only one around.

da2lp63-14.jpg

da2lp63-15.jpg

face-tallis.jpg
Wait, does it really? How can ham taste like despair? Why would anyone eat it if it did?
face-elfservant.jpg
That's what the importer said. They all talk like that. "This wine has notes of oak and springtime. This cheese tastes of sorrow."
face-hawke63.jpg
I'm not here for the food.
face-elfservant.jpg
No one is, messere. This is the Game. The catering is just a small part of it.
face-tallis.jpg
I don't suppose we could have a peek at the kitchens? I'd love to see this hopeless dish in all its glory.
face-elfservant.jpg
I don't know. I shouldn't leave my post...
face-hawke63.jpg
Just do it. We haven't go all night.
face-elfservant.jpg
So ill-mannered! Don't you know how to play the Game at all?
face-tallis.jpg
He's new to this.
face-tallis.jpg
Come on, later you can tell the other servants that you snuck guests into the kitchen.
face-elfservant.jpg
The upstairs maids will be so jealous when they find out. Very well, follow me!

I don't how this can be good for her. These upstairs maid would be the first to tell the duke and she 'll be going straight to wyvern's dinner plate. :?

Again, poor Hawke was left out of action.

da2lp63-16.jpg

face-hawke63.jpg
Avoid the cheese plate. Terrible.

da2lp63-17.jpg

face-hawke63.jpg
Have you got the key?
face-tallis.jpg
I'm usually better at this.
face-tallis.jpg
She didn't have the key either. Sighs This isn't supposed to be so complicated!
face-hawke63.jpg
So who does have this blighted key?
face-tallis.jpg
The servant says she gave it to the duke's son, Lord Cyril.
face-tallis.jpg
Let's find him and hope he didn't pass it on to his father.

Meanwhile Hawke was looking for Orlesian coins.

da2lp63-18.jpg

face-hawke63.jpg
Mother used to love these coins. She never got to bring hers to the fountain.
face-tallis.jpg
Why not?
face-hawke63.jpg
You don't get invited to fancy Orlesian parties when you marry an apostate.

da2lp63-19.jpg

She's one of the first year in Kirkwall acquaintances that player has no clue about.

face-ladyelegant.jpg
My, my. I never thought you'd actually attend, Champion.
face-hawke63.jpg
I'm mingling, Elegant. What are you doing here?
face-ladyelegant.jpg
The same, of course. If one wishes to secure the most exclusive business contracts, one must perfect that fine art.
face-ladyelegant.jpg
What do you think of the party so far?
face-hawke63.jpg
I'll be happy when I can get out of here.
face-ladyelegant.jpg
You're enduring this trial quite nobly, Hawke.
face-tallis.jpg
We should probably go mingle a bit more.
face-hawke63.jpg
Right. Elegant.

da2lp63-20.jpg

And this is the mother of an apostate whom Hawke valiantly spared from templars' crackdown.

face-dulci.jpg
Champion! I cannot thank you enough for your kindness to my poor Emile.
face-dulci.jpg
I may have to enlist your services in finding him again. You were so good at it before!
face-dulci.jpg
When he was in the Circle, he wrote to me every day! Now, I get nothing! Not a word!
face-hawke63.jpg
Letter would just help the templars track him down.
face-dulci.jpg
Oh, my poor baby! Forced to live like a fugitive! He will never get into good society now!
face-dulci.jpg
I cannot bear to think of this any longer. Good day, messere.

Hawke could barely contain his anger.

da2lp63-21.jpg

da2lp63-22.jpg

face-cyril.jpg
Excellent! Join us, Champion! We were just discussing your famous confrontation with the Qunari leader.
face-bannperrin.jpg
You must tell us the tale! It was the talk of Denerim for months!
face-cyril.jpg
You have never been to Chateau Haine, yes? Please, allow me to give you this Caprice. It is an old custom.
face-cyril.jpg
My mother spoke often of Leandra. They were great friends when they were young. It is a shame neither could be here.

da2lp63-23.jpg

da2lp63-24.jpg

/facepalm

face-cyril.jpg
What entertaining manners our guests have. Don't you agree, Hawke?
face-hawke63.jpg
Tallis here has been asking such fascinating questions about the garden, but I can't answer them.
face-cyril.jpg
I suppose I can do my duty for the family and show her around.

Hey you bitch, what about Hawke?

da2lp63-25.jpg

face-tallis.jpg
It et I'd... Laughs I wouldn't si- oh, forget it.
face-hawke63.jpg
That wyvern blood has some kick, doesn't it?

da2lp63-26.jpg

face-tallis.jpg
This is officially my worst night ever.
face-hawke63.jpg
Not Lord Cyril's type?
face-tallis.jpg
Maybe he doesn't like elves. Or women.

Serves you right for being member of the inferior gender. :rpgcodex:

face-tallis.jpg
In either case, you're the answer. He has the key. Go get it.

da2lp63-27.jpg

face-tallis.jpg
What? It's your turn, Hawke. Go on.
face-hawke63.jpg
This won't take long.
face-tallis.jpg
Just... try not to make a mess of him. Please?
face-tallis.jpg
So good luck with that.
face-hawke63.jpg
Thanks.

da2lp63-28.jpg

face-cyril.jpg
She's pretty enough, I suppose. No doubt there are some men who would like that sort of thing.

da2lp63-29.jpg

face-hawke63.jpg
I though you might be a man of... refined tastes.
face-cyril.jpg
I heard the same of you, Monsieur Hawke.

While sharing the man kiss Hawke snatched the key.

da2lp63-30.jpg

da2lp63-31.jpg

face-hawke63.jpg
Why don't we talk again after the party?

Smug and content Hawke left the room.

face-tallis.jpg
You have it. Tell me you have it.
face-hawke63.jpg
What do you think?
face-tallis.jpg
Good. Then we can find the... jewel and get this over with.

Ha ha, this is the ultimate manwhorism.

da2lp63-32.jpg

face-hawke63.jpg
And here I thought we were getting along so well.
face-tallis.jpg
I can't imagine anyone I would rather attend an Orlesian party with.
face-tallis.jpg
Even if you are human.
face-tallis.jpg
Let's find that door and get inside.

da2lp63-33.jpg

face-teagan.jpg
My word... has anyone ever told you, you're the spitting image of the Champion of Kirkwall?
face-hawke63.jpg
I am the Champion of Kirkwall.
face-teagan.jpg
Maker's breath, now I feel like an idiot.
face-teagan.jpg
I should have realized. I'm Bann Teagan Guerrin.
face-isolde.jpg
Who is this man, Teagan?
face-teagan.jpg
I beg yopur pardon, Isolde, this is the Champion of Kirkwall.

da2lp63-34.jpg

face-isolde.jpg
Teagan, I must speak with you right now about the horrible thing Dulci de Launcet said!
face-teagan.jpg
I... of course. Please, excuse me, Messere Hawke.
face-teagan.jpg
A pleasure to meet you. If you speak to Bann Perrin, I don't advise you to bring up the Chantry. Or... knickers.

I wonder why Bioware made him emasculated whiner. He was pretty broish in the first game.

da2lp63-35.jpg

face-hawke63.jpg
Another Caprice. How many of these are there, I wonder?

Bringing up the dead.

da2lp63-36.jpg

face-hawke63.jpg
Sister Nighingale?
face-leliana.jpg
Champion! It is good to see you again, under less... dire circumstances.
face-leliana.jpg
I -- Tallis?
face-tallis.jpg
Leliana! It's so lovely to see you again!
face-leliana.jpg
You look stunning this evening! And your hair is darling! Did you do it yourself?
face-hawke63.jpg
We can't stand here all night talking about hair.
face-tallis.jpg
What a pity. Hawke is so impatient! We'll have to talk another time, Leliana.

One coin is right behind Leliana's fine ass.

da2lp63-37.jpg

face-tallis.jpg
Hawke, do you even know why you're picking these coins up?
face-hawke63.jpg
Don't start, Tallis.

He's working for the achievement, stupid.

da2lp63-38.jpg

This dude is one of the city's officials. His companion however is way more interesting for Codexian public.

face-bran.jpg
Champion. What a surprise.

An authentic tranny with gruff voice.

face-tranny.jpg
Honey badger! Don't you look good enough to eat!
face-bran.jpg
You... know each other?
face-tranny.jpg
Oh, don't be jealous, sweetie. Everyone knows honey badger.
face-tallis.jpg
Awkward. So, can we talk about something else now?
face-hawke63.jpg
I think I've mingled enough over here.
face-tranny.jpg
Don't be a stranger.

The last coin.

da2lp63-39.jpg

face-tallis.jpg
Why are these coins in such weird places?
face-hawke63.jpg
It's Orlesian. Better not to know.

So Hawke just threw all of them.

da2lp63-40.jpg

face-tallis.jpg
So... that's it? That's the whole game?
face-hawke63.jpg
Yes. I won.
face-tallis.jpg
Let's just... get going.

Achievement unlocked. :yeah:

The door to the vaults was guarded by a lonely guy.

da2lp63-41.jpg

face-tallis.jpg
There is need for you to die today, friend. Just move on. You never saw us.

da2lp63-42.jpg

Felicia's knife stuck in his throat didn't give him enough time to raise the alarm.

da2lp63-43.jpg

da2lp63-44.jpg

face-tallis.jpg
You could have walked away.
face-hawke63.jpg
Let's get this jewel and get out.
face-hawke63.jpg
Are you coming?
face-tallis.jpg
There are other paths. They do not need to lead to the same destination.

This sound like a mockery in the light of Bioware's design philosophy

face-tallis.jpg
Enough. We're here for the Heart.
face-tallis.jpg
I'd like to do this quietly. Alert as few guards as possible. What do you think?

da2lp63-45.jpg

And what do you think bros? Should we try some evolved stealth or just whack all moles old skool way?

Is that one of these so called "rethorical questions"?? Everyone knows that no matter what you do you'll be forced to fight trash mobs. Over and Over. But I would like to see Bioware's attempt at "stealth", so let's try to be as sneaky as possible (although randomly killing that guard was probably a bad start, but details).
She's one of the first year in Kirkwall acquaintances that player has no clue about.

Yes. Let's be all sneaky like.

Also, I wish there was an opportunity to betray and turn in that bitch. Duke Prosper has been nothing but good to us, and having the bodyguard kill that noble bastard was incredibly Bro-ish. I know it won't be a possibility though...

Don't worry, Duke Prosper will suddenly become lolevil and will try to kill you, because you tried to rob him and even randomly killed one of his guards... Which is actually a reasonable reaction.

Oh wait, nevermind, it will turn out he was possessed by a demon, so you will not feel bad about killing him, less you have to worry about silly things such as wondering about the morality of your actions :M

Hah they even bring in Leliana to make the pandering even more blatant? Awesome. Good thing she's immortal or people could've missed this key bit of character development.

Keep on whoring, Hawke :salute:

this.

why the fuck are we supposed to help that ugly bitch again? does she have "a right" to rob prosper?

but i guess getting into her pants is sufficient moral legitimation... for biotards.

It would be nice if the reason for going along with Felicia's plans was a bit more elaborate than "because if you don't, there's no adventure". So far a lawful and/or good character would have no motivation to help her steal anything.

I decided to check the wiki, he "kinda" does something very stupid ... I have to say, this is a rip-off of "Kasumi, Stolen Memories" but with 67% more stupid and lacking the "B-movie" factor that ends up excusing a lot of Mass Effect dumbshit.

I suppose the puzzles might make up for it as Stolen Memories had none but honestly ... its like minigames, its a added padding to the game that relies on player knowledge and skills were nobody is offended by it because its "cerebral", unlike other minigames.

Stealth it is.

face-hawke64.jpg
This'll be quicker without guards dogging our steps.
face-tallis.jpg
I'm glad you agree. Let's go.

da2lp64-01.jpg

face-tallis.jpg
Or we could try to create distractions. Provided you're good at throwing stones.
face-hawke64.jpg
Or I could just knock them out.
face-tallis.jpg
Right, of course. Just try not to do it all the time.
face-tallis.jpg
All right. I'm ready when you are.

face-tallis.jpg
Wait.
face-hawke64.jpg
What?
face-tallis.jpg
There might be a problem. You are prohibited from killing guards by the Maker himself. You really have to avoid being seen.
face-tallis.jpg
I can teleport around, but what about you?
face-hawke64.jpg
No worries.

da2lp64-02.jpg

Guards were really bright fellows. Would you silently stare at the floor while someone was throwing stones around?

da2lp64-03.jpg

da2lp64-04.jpg

It's nice to know that accessiblity was a top priority while making the DLC. :)

There was a small kitchen nearby marked with an obscure exclamation mark. Exploring the castle was such a joy.

If you need something, ask one of the servants. Well? Why are you still bothering me?

And he put the poison in the monster's food.

da2lp64-18.jpg

face-tallisb.jpg
I think Leopold's going to be an unhappy wyvern after that.

Never pass an opportunity to loot.

da2lp64-19.jpg

face-hawkeaug.jpg
A miniature painting. Bethany would love this.

Sadly, you can't even sell it. It all goes for an achievement. :M

Guard captain stared at the wall like the most devoted Oblivion NPC. Radiant mind he was. It's time to introduce awesome takedowns.

da2lp64-20.jpg

da2lp64-21.jpg

da2lp64-22.jpg

da2lp64-23.jpg

No worries, bro, I'm sure that with random blackouts you are still competent enough to handle guard duty. :M

da2lp64-24.jpg

da2lp64-25.jpg

Guard were positioned in entirely logical order.

da2lp64-26.jpg

Loot!

da2lp64-27.jpg

Takedown!

da2lp64-28.jpg

da2lp64-29.jpg

da2lp64-30.jpg

Damn! Hawke missed some dude and was discovered. Reload?

da2lp64-31.jpg

No need, because Felicia just teleported failed master thief back to the last checkpoint. :M

da2lp64-32.jpg

Hawke improved his covert skills and just littered the balcony with stones of distraction.

da2lp64-33.jpg

da2lp64-34.jpg

da2lp64-35.jpg

Awesome!

da2lp64-36.jpg

da2lp64-37.jpg

da2lp64-38.jpg

da2lp64-39.jpg

face-hawkeaug.jpg
A gown positively festooned. Bethany would swoon.

Instead of following the main path Hawke tuned to the side passage. He enjoyed being a ninja and was in a mood for some loot whoring.

da2lp64-40.jpg

da2lp64-41.jpg

da2lp64-42.jpg

da2lp64-43.jpg

No shit, bro. I'll check the corridor anyway.

da2lp64-44.jpg

The instructor was drilling a squad of chevaliers. They weren't going to sleep that night.

da2lp64-45.jpg

Hawke's path was straightforward: open a door...

da2lp64-46.jpg

...and another

da2lp64-47.jpg

...and another

da2lp64-48.jpg

...and another
da2lp64-49.jpg

da2lp64-51.jpg

That balcony was tightly guarded, without jokes. However narrow cones of vision and total indifference to suspicious sound played a bad joke with the guards.

da2lp64-52.jpg

da2lp64-53.jpg

da2lp64-54.jpg

da2lp64-55.jpg

The vault was close.

da2lp64-56.jpg

face-hawkeaug.jpg
We're getting too deep. Something is interfering with my magic. The spell is fading... :(

Grates closed behind the backs of careless thieves.

da2lp64-57.jpg

face-hawke64.jpg
It's never as easy as it seems, is it?
face-tallis.jpg
I swear, I didn't know! There must be some sort of switch.

To escape Hawke had to solve a simple puzzle involving pressure plates.

da2lp64-58.jpg

da2lp64-59.jpg

da2lp64-60.jpg

da2lp64-61.jpg

The statues... how conveniently placed.

da2lp64-62.jpg

da2lp64-63.jpg

da2lp64-64.jpg

da2lp64-65.jpg

Puzzle solved.

da2lp64-66.jpg

da2lp64-67.jpg

da2lp64-68.jpg

face-hawke64.jpg
Something wrung?
face-tallis.jpg
I don't know.

da2lp64-69.jpg

Ha ha, it was a set-up from the very beginning.

face-prosper.jpg
Don't fret, my dear.

da2lp64-70.jpg

da2lp64-71.jpg

No chance to escape.

face-hawke64.jpg
Wonderful.
face-tallis.jpg
It's not over yet.
face-prosper.jpg
But it is over. I knew who you were the moment you arrived, assassin.
face-hawke64.jpg
Assassin? I thought we were here to steal a jewel.
face-prosper.jpg
Laughs Then she didn't tell you! The elf is a Qunari.
face-hawke64.jpg
I can't believe I fell for this.
face-tallis.jpg
Look. I came to stop the Heart from doing something we will all regret. He didn't. Leave him out of this.
face-prosper.jpg
And waste all the effort I spent luring you here before the Heart's arrival? Don't be foolish.
face-tallis.jpg
Asay hassatra maas.
face-prosper.jpg
Maas avastrasa kulun.
face-prosper.jpg
Take them away.

face-cassandra.jpg
The elf was qunari.
face-varric.jpg
And the dwarf has no beard! I know, it made no sense to me, either. Maybe they just cut her horns off?
face-cassandra.jpg
The Qunari are not a race. They are a religion.
face-cassandra.jpg
What I don't understand is why a Qunari agent would try to kill one of her own people. And why involve the Champion?
face-varric.jpg
Excellent questions.
face-cassandra.jpg
I expect answers to match.
face-varric.jpg
I live to please.

da2lp64-72.jpg

face-tallis.jpg
You're angry, aren't you?

da2lp64-73.jpg

face-tallis.jpg
Look on the bright side: the duke didn't have us killed. That's got to be worth something, right?
face-tallis.jpg
Unless he has something worse planned...

From petty anger to shameless flirting: it's truly a codexian school of flip-flopping.

da2lp64-74.jpg

da2lp64-75.jpg

face-tallis.jpg
Not a fan of tunneling our way out, I take it?
face-hawkesmug.jpg
Tunneling is for chumps.
face-tallis.jpg
Oh, the things you say.
face-hawkesmug.jpg
If you prefer, I could yell at you instead.
face-tallis.jpg
I am sorry. This didn't work out like I'd planned... obviously.
face-hawke64.jpg
What was your plan, exactly?
face-tallis.jpg
The one I expected to find is named Salit, a member of the Ben-Hassrath... the Heart of Many.
face-tallis.jpg
I was told he's here to sell secrets to the Orlesians, and I came to stop him. I... suppose I was misinformed.
face-hawke64.jpg
You were "misinformed." Clearly the mark of a skilled Qunari agent.
face-tallis.jpg
And there I was making fun of the Crows, too.
face-hawke64.jpg
Just where do you get your misinformation?
face-tallis.jpg
I read about it on the wall of a latrine.

:what:

da2lp64-76.jpg

face-tallis.jpg
Sighs Whan can I say? Apparently the "I was tricked" thing is going around.
face-tallis.jpg
The first order of business is getting out of here before His Grace decides we would taste good in the soup... or whatever he has planned.
face-tallis.jpg
Any ideas?
face-hawke64.jpg
We wait for a rescue.

da2lp64-77.jpg

Wait, how did they manage to get there? They never had a fucking key in the first place. :retarded:

face-bethany.jpg
Lost your spool of twine?
face-merrill.jpg
Yes. I was going to drop breadcrumbs, but we don't have any bread.
face-bethany.jpg
We'll find them, if they're still here to be found.
face-merrill.jpg
Don't worry! If we keep going, eventually we'll get somewhere! Probably an airing cupboard. I seem to wind up in those a lot.
face-tallis.jpg
That's it. I'm officially tired of waiting to be rescued.

da2lp64-78.jpg

The fuck! How could she pick it? There was no lock on the grate. :retarded:

face-hawke64.jpg
Why didn't you do that before?
face-tallis.jpg
You said your friends were coming.

da2lp64-79.jpg

face-bethany.jpg
And you're fine. Of course you are.
face-merrill.jpg
Can we go now? I don't think I like it in here.
face-hawke64.jpg
So back throught he castle, then?
face-tallis.jpg
There's a better way than fighting through the duke's entire army. I'll show you.
face-bethany.jpg
Well, we found all your gear at least.
face-tallis.jpg
Then we should head for the caves. That's the way out I'd planned to take us through, originally.
face-tallis.jpg
Unless you want to carve your way out through the duke's army.
face-hawke64.jpg
I might.
face-merrill.jpg
Oh, caves! I like caves!
face-hawke64.jpg
No, you don't, Merrill.
face-merrill.jpg
Oh. Right. Giant, creepy spiders and things live in caves. What am I thinking of, then? Ruins?
face-tallis.jpg
It's up to you which way you want to go, Hawke. I'll help you either way.

da2lp64-80.jpg

This is the biggest decision to make in the entire DLC pack. :M So shall we:

a) Follow her advice and escape through the cave system (the fastest and the easiest way).

or

b) Plunder the vault proper while avoiding the duke's army. (puzzle-solving and fat loot)

or

c) Charge head-on on duke's forces and hope to survive (kkkombat).

Note that options b and c aren't mutually exclusive.

Discuss!

Y'know, I'm really tired of missions like this. If it's a trap anyway, why do you have to bypass so many obstacles simply to earn the right to be caught ? It'd make more sense if you could get caught earlier, but managing to avoide capture as long as possible would bring you something useful as a reward.

Anyway, let's plunder ! B !

Why would they need to open the gates in the first place, that gate would barely keep a bull out... All you have to do is to crawl through the 1 meter large holes in the gate.

But I guess making new art assets with tighter holes would be too much effort eh.
