Massive final update time!
This is what the forbidden box would sell for.
I suppose the power of the ancients isn't quite as valuable as an iron lance. We hang on to it though.
The price offered for the Lightblade is a bit better at least. I find it entertaining that these things have prices at all to be honest. Most games don't let you sell such things.
This is pretty much the only thing the search command does besides open treasure chests. And since we missed the first gold fountain, this is the only time we use it for this in the whole game.
New waypoint achieved!
Now to commence the final assault!
The lightblade is blasting the shit out of everything before it moves.
We don't even find out what most of the new enemies are capable of.
The magic ring lets us nuke our asses off.
Or it would if our luck wasn't so shit.
Final got some shots of this thing popping out of the water.
The animation is really fast.
I think this frame was done by prosper.
Anyways, we can massacre these things easily now.
Are Hellhounds a new swap? I think they're new.
They still attack twice. And hit pretty hard.
Lots of new enemy sprites in the final floor.
No mercy for any of them.

I decide to let a few get some attacks off just to make things more interesting.
But they're just meleeing us right now anyways.

Obvious stairs are obvious. I think there was a chest down there too, but if there was it was just a stupid hand eater or something.

Though not quite effective enough. Not that a screen spell before it dies is going to hurt us.

We can get at some chests from the other side with this key now, but we already got this one the hard way.
New enemies, so I give them a free round to see what they do.

This is why I'm annihilating everything with the Lightblade and nuke spells.
The enemies here might fall easily, but so do we. It's basically a fight between glass cannons. Trying to conserve ammo in this situation by attacking weakly is foolish.
Fucker! The second one uses icebreath too.
Milo is highly resistant at least. Must be that hood. Funny that the frost armor doesn't help more.
And there goes our ability to nuke them away.
Don't want to risk somehow not killing the fucker and getting wiped out.
See? We wouldn't have even killed him with Milo's attack.

I'd show you what it does, but it's basically a less entertaining version of what the demon staff did. Thoguh more useful, or would be if we didn't already have nigh endless MP supplies and massive nuking power.

Barely stronger than the Stormsword, and Milo tells us it's 'nothing special'. Fuck you Milo.
In retrospect, I should have tried on some of the cursed items; they actually have individual curses in this game, like the offense lowering on the shield, or making your character randomly be paralyzed for another thing, stuff like that.
Yet another swap already?
We're lucky they don't show up in larger groups. A squad of 8 would actually be rather scary.

I decide to give Codex back the lightblade, since Pyra can basically just nuke shit and use the rings for MP. Codex is faster than most enemies now anyways.
