Choosing Ireland is like choosing Switzerland for WW2. Sure there are players that make a point of doing stuff with those sorts of places but for the most part it's boring.

Choose Poland! It'll be a short and exciting game. See how long you can hold off the Nazis and Communists.

Poland can roll over Germany in '36 but that amounts to cheating. Best I've managed was to hold out till Spring of 1940 when the snows melted and the Axis breached the line of fortifications I'd built in the prewar years.

Yeah.. I'll just play until the end (with CORE mod) and see what I achieved.
Guess that is why I like EU3 more...you can achieve something there with minors. With some, at least.
