Is playing old consoles like Sega Gen, N64 acceptable?

It's acceptable to play any console, even the newer ones. How were those PC ports of Bayonetta and Demon's Souls?

NES, SNES, MEGA CD, AMIGA CD32 and C64GS are the only acceptable consoles you are allowed to mention here.
But I like Centipede and Mrs Pacman on the Atari.
