Almost as bad as DerpaSha butthurt over having to play campaign mode.

And, yeah, IMO Internationale is by far the strongest with the Wireless Emitter augment. Sharp is good, too, but dependent on you finding a lot of quality augments. If he didn't start with a cloak and +1 speed Decker would be shit because identify daemon is pretty useless (can usually just hack a server to display them).

You can get an item which allows you to see things at range like Internationale can. Being able to hack terminals through walls can be pretty useful in a clutch though.

Internationale saves so many AP by not having to walk over to terminals and back again. It's not flashy, but it's by far the most resource-efficient ability.

Plus she has that exotic pornstar name: INTERNATIONALE! I've yet to use that blonde Russian woman. Two attacks a turn don't seem that useful when you're usually avoiding combat.

Nika is probably the worst character. Two attacks per turn just isn't very good. I also find shalem not so good, but he has some purpose at least.

Couple Nika up with the augment that gives +6AP on a KO and things get interesting. I once punched a guy 4 times in the face and ran across the level in one turn :M

I never actually tried KO'n more than twice in a turn with her. Didn't try to KO the same person repeatedly either. This actually works ?

edit: also coupled with ping you can set up a pretty nice escape path for your whole team if you have someone that can knockdown multiple guards

Well yeah sure, but you also need A LOT of stun gloves for that, just doesn't seem like a worthwhile investment :M

Yeah. You can keep punching the same guy who's down. It's unconventional, but it works great when you need to get a lot done in a single turn.

There's a stun glove that runs off of pwr. +M

Volt zapper is the way to go with Nika, though I often just use mk I to keep the pwr cost low.
She's great with the flurry gun. Gotta test if it stacks with Stim III, but even if it doesn't, you get to remove two threats per mission without worrying about ammo. Works wonderful on sankaku robots.

Like I said somewhere else, that doesn't make her a great char, but I get her out of detention very often, so I had to make do with what I got.
I agree that shalom is usually better for lethal playthroughs.

I'm having great success with an unorthodox Banks + Xu. Banks to me is the best agent, the ability to lay someone down for 5+ turns is really strong and you're never restricted by the map layout because of her free red card pass. Internationale is overrated, I had a really weird power strategy that focuses on parasites and that burst power ability, I hardly even hack terminals because I just don't need the power at all and I have 0 points invested in hacking.

I also had a really weird early game with no other agents so I decked out Banks to the extreme and every round she has like 15 AP thanks to an augmentation that gives her AP whenever something is hacked (best Aug in the game). The last 3 missions I found 2 more bros and I'm about to start the final mission with 4 agents that have 4 points in strength each to carry guards, I hope the mission goes along smoothly last time I had the worst placement ever.

I'm thinking any DLC they do will add more mechanics, items, agents, etc. so it will add to the replay value. Some story-fags want more 'campaign' DLC but it would be cheaper for them to add mechanics then rehire voice actors and make more cutscenes. People are odd, it's not like Don't Starve had any kind of meaningful story.

That's what I'm hoping for. Campaign DLC would just be stupid and not cost effective at all, considering the amount they can expect to sell and how expensive voice acting is. Fattening up the gameplay is way cheaper, while offering much more value to the customer because of how it exponentially adds to the replayability. It's win-win.

Managed to survive day five on Endless although at this point I'm just doing what I have to do to find the exit room key and gtfo. Both Xu and Internationale have 4 speed and strength and Internationale also has max hacking. Both have cloaks with one having a level three. Both have armor piercing stunners, got Xu's door trap, Internationale has a biogenic armor piercing ranged gun thingy and a flash bomb for an oh shit moment. Would be nice to add another member but I imagine a prison facility would be fucking brutal at level 6.

Also, top review on Steam store page: vote 'dat shizz up.

Got raped trying a level 7 prison break on day 6. IMO, best to avoid those missions unless you get them early on in Endless. Picked up my Expert Plus run, managed to rescue Decker. Internationale, Prism, Decker on day 3 with 'meh 'gear. They all have a level one stun baton, Decker has that armor piercing gun Monster gets in the final mission, Internationale has a cloak. Also grabbed a smoke grenade.

Will I soon join the 0.01% on Steam that has beaten Expert Plus?!?! Only 12% have beaten it on Beginner and 3% on Experienced.

Where do you get all these stats from ? Also to be fair the game is kind of new. On beginner it is pretty easy so I would expect at the very least that number should increase.

Yeah tbh I don't usually bother with the 'social' aspects of steam. Those are some interesting numbers though. Only around 1/3 of people have even completed a day. Mostly I either buy a game because I want to play it immediately or because its 80% off and I swear that I will play it someday. Looks like other people just buy games because ... actually no idea

Expert plus seems hard. Need to be so careful when moving to not run into a camera or guard sight range.

It's also possible lots of people bought and played it in early access, and got bored of it enough that they feel no need to play release version.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I had a fun last mission run.
I used Xu to trap the server room, and after M0nst3r hacked it, I forgot about the trap, and had him open the door. It didn't end well.
Blunders are very costly in this game :)

Archive Banks is awesome. Well, her item is at least. I gave it to Internationale, and cash problems is a thing of the past. Maybe I should have taken Prism instead, or Xu, as his ability is great for saving energy. Also, he is great for the last mission (his ability depletes the guard power shields for 1 turn).

Finished the game on expert, I just did a standard Decker + Internationale party. Decker proved extremely useful early game because of his cloak which was often the only way to get past guards once I went in deep to retrieve loot. Speed is the best stat too, with enough of it you can sneak past guards and a stealth run is the best thing you can do to succeed in the mission. Had some really funny map layouts, for a nanofab mission the first door I opened (a dead end) was the exit and the second door I opened was the objective, right past it were 4 guards guarding the entry to the rest of the level. After 10 turns just waiting for an opportunity I gave up and went home. The last mission was extremely well placed too as 80% of the guards could be avoided with the 2 objectives on the bottom part of the map, sometimes each room has only 1 exit and you've forced to go through them all.
