and yeah, play as an ostrich is the best.

TR 1 is in TR 2, a updated buggy less version even. I only activated that one since 2 supposedly has no quests yet (and conflicts with moon spawn).
mlox is good to find these conflicts, though i found 3 false positives.

aha, didn´t know that.

previously i forgot to add that imo Creatures X fixes the ecology quite sufficiently, making some creatures gradually less aggressive and potentially replacing an aggressive spawn with one of its non-aggressive-by-defaults. guars seem to be rarely aggressive as well.
the only problem i´ve found with the mod is that it adds some vermin in towns which can quite grow in numbers unless disposed of, so i edited that part out for my game.

It's old. A flying dwemer fortress/dungeon.

Anyway i was going to try Sobitur complete, but can't even get it to install in wrye smash without retarded workarounds (because some author thought it funny to pseudonym herself with a utf-8 glyph in the name - either/and wine, zip or python chokes on it. I suspect python).

Going to update the zip and try again.

It's fixed. Wrye smash is actually fundamental to fixing it since it allows one to change the dependencies of the ESP and ESM files. I then updated the zip with the new file. While i was at it i updated the mods that had the old morrowind dependency (before patch).

Edit: actually it is not fixed. Sovanbitch uploaded a version with loading errors.

I refuse to believe xbox users can use these mods. The "community" is also ass-backwards. At least update the mod to not require a specialized tool to work.

It's only a myth, you can fight against their skeletons on Oblivion. Also, akavirians like Gaiden Shinji are pretty much humanoids for me.

yeah, i know, though it must´ve been one of the mentioned exceptions because i never change load order once i start to play, probably a merged leveled list thing. this happened about four years ago, too late for repair now :). hopefully you won´t need it either.

anyway, solid list.

So, assuming TR = Tamriel Rebuilt, am I supposed to use it? I don't like the idea of a huge place without quests, I think it'll feel unfinished.


EDIT: Is there a reason modders don't always put their textures and the like into tidy "Morrowind/Textures/MyMod" folders, or is it the usual craziness? If I want to remove said mod later, I have to hunt down each one.

It's only map 2 that is unfinished. But you need to download the release 2 (that includes map 1 - the other has old bugs).

Anyway my list has changed AGAIN, since i found out that the ecology mod doesn't make slaughterfish not hostile. THIS WILL NOT STAND! I prefer to lose a few logic things than to be attacked constantly while swimming. Instead i now use rational wildlife + were realism as a replacement for 2 there.

I found the REAL best mod ever too: quick char, replaced no chargen messages with it.

I wish i could use MWSE. Keyring looks essential now that i know about it.

EDIT: SHiiit rational wildlife did nothing too. I suspect they are fish added by another mod or tamriel rebuild.

Don't forget to merge the level lists. See the readme for wrye mash if you're using it.

Game ridiculously needs a big world project kind of thing. Outdated mod installers, wrong packaging, wrong file dates, lots of incompatibilities etc.

Will someone please liberate me me from the endless circle of mod and unmod and offer me gaming nirvana by suggesting or uploading an already playable and well modded game. Well to be more frank i never really understood Internet altruism so guys for this one time if someone is prepared to upload a data file with a playable list i am prepared to do anything asked in return.

List crafted with the intent of avoiding conflicts. You can even skip the graphical enhancement ones so you don't feel tempted to replace every single thing in the game.

Thank you thats appears to be a very good and detailed site, i assume install order is the order of presentation. If i take the plunge i will back up the game with that list and then start adding quest mods which in my opinion is what is needed for a new experience, unfortunately choosing the correct mods and installing them in the right order is the most difficult part. Discerning between mob trash and genuine lore friendly well written content is akin to dig into the mud for diamonds, thats way i hoped someone else already dirty would spare us our sanity. Installing order isn't really important, load order is. And you can use Mlox for that. You can cherry pick quest mods later since they usually don't add big stuff.
