ok. dun sum experimenting.

still cant loginto root. nothing comes up in password wen i type, and anything i try anyway is incorrect. there a default password or nethin? if OS changes nethin im using win 2000.

so not in root, but using a login with admin rights to computer.
rm = remove
-R = root directory
but theres nuthin in there.
listing contents gives ".:" which ive never understood but presume means empty.
is the stuff only in there if ur logged into root??
nd still dnt get wot the * is for. how is removing tht gna change nethin? its unrelated to FATE entirely... as far as i can see neway. am i completely wrong?
