Bethesda ressurecting the Enclave was peak creative bankrupcy
I think it was actually a genius idea that was jumped the gun and done in a retarded way.
It was too early to resurrect the Enclave. 2 was all about them. The Enclave returning should have happened in like, Fallout 4 or 5. Its like beating idk, Darkseid seemingly forever... and then he shows up in the next comic no worse for the wear. I just had a saga about Darkseid, I wanted to see Superman fight Lex Luthor or something. Enclave returning would have been one hell of a plot twist if done right.
Also, in many aspects, Fallout 3 is just... not cool. Aside from Autumn (the real hero of the game, should have been joiniable) and Eden (good idea, lame execution), the FO3 Enclave simply lacks cool or interesting characters. Whereas the OG Enclave had Richardson, Dr. Curling, Dornan for the lulz, Frank Horrigan, Granite, and Dr. Henry and Ron A. Meyer as deserters. Enclave soldiers are puny, no DT means Power Armor doesn't really matter. Their endgame was simply ass, you follow Liberty Prime destroying the Enclave and that's it. The Purifier confrontation is such a let-down.
A good example is how Bethesda, in their creative bankruptcy, had Liberty Primes in TWO games... and in not a single one of them, you fight Liberty Prime as a final boss. Its a giant nuke-tossing, laser-shooting, catchphrase spewing super war robot made to wreck armies. Its perfect final boss material... and THEY FUCKING WASTED IT. It would be like Frank Horrigan be a good guy in FO2.
I'm laughing hard about the Sneedclave invasion and those clowns deserved a invasion to purge the degeneracy, they are just a bunch of cunts, but the modders are really clueless about the series they are making mods for, Bethesda ressurecting the Enclave was peak creative bankrupcy, I really dont want to see the Enclave anymore, much less the Enclave written by furries. OG Obsidian, the one that was actually good before dying inserted so much stuff with the Mormom stuff on Honest Hearts, the Legion, Mr. House and all that stuff. Bethesda was so jealous that they just made Fallout 4 with a faction that is just a copy paste of Old World Blues content on the form of the Institute, of course, with no intelligence and class as usual.
They even had a faction that seemed cool on Fallout 76, the responders, imagine the firefighters turning into a militia, it even made sense, people used to save people from rubble would make a great basis for a Fallout faction as they would pretty much demanded on the apocalypse AND have the knowledge where to get clean water that probably wasnt radiated but NOPE, Fallout 76 main story is basically an invasion of bat dragons infected with fungus...that wipe the only original faction out, yeah. It is like Todd had a creative brain fart but the rest of his brain couldnt accept that reality and decided to clamp hard on it and recycle Skyrim again.
Yeah, Bethesda world building is super weak. They seem to just re-hash old material, and their concepts often are interesting but fall flat because of execution. Like how the Institute makes no sense.
Free States are also cool, militias with bunkers and shit.
FO76 does have some cool world-building. I like how the real thing that did everyone in, is the fact everyone distrusted each other and thought everyone was out to get them or could't be trusted.
