Lost Town(? I think it was called that, the north area of Sedit, with the casino), in the eastern section of the map near a campfire

On that Anonym quest, sided with Aron. He always keeps tanking, but ok, I managed to get through the first 2 fights after loading MANY TIMES. But the third fight - it's just unbeatable. Wtf?

So I finished my Stupid + Unarmed/Melee playthrough, but I had to "cheat" at the very end and take a Mentat to do it because I didn't feel like grinding for Skill Points. I tried everything I could think off, even killed everyone in the last location. Either I missed something, or there's really only one way to finish it as a stupid character and you need something around 130 Lockpick skill.

How can i repair the generator in the mutant base?
i already used the elecronic part from the scrapyard at Vault 16 third floor. Don't tell me it was one or the other situation? If so i completely wasted it since the useless hunter at the vault couldn't modify any of my Weapons.
Also, is there a place to modify Energy Weapons? And what use is the plasma transormer from Progema base?

I used the scrapyard part to fix the generator in the supermutant's base. I only ever found one of those. I think you're fucked, sorry.

If you have a talky character, you can parlay the plasma transformer into a weapons upgrade, including energy weapons I think, in the Rebirth base.

You only need to kill Elisa and the fight is over. She has about 100 hitpoints, but is unarmored so a good burst should do the trick.

They posted an update yesterday:

31.07.2016 Thanks for your feedback
Thank you all who share with us your opinion about the game. Responses to Resurrection are very enthusiastic, we're glad you like our game.

We're working on fixing bugs and making small improvements on the game based on the fixes that you players have reported. All of that should be part of the next version of Resurrection. But that takes a several weeks so here're advices about some problems that surfaced after the release.

Turned out that Resurrection doesn't work with non-English versions of Fallout 2. Meaning official versions of other languages - German and French. With those versions, Resurrection will crash on start. You need to have english version of Fallout 2. In the case of GOG version, you can download English version, in the case of Steam version, you can switch language in Steam client in properties of Fallout 2. If you don't want to or simply can't install English version of Fallout 2, you can download this fix. Extract this archive into your Fallout 2\Resurrection directory. After that Resurrection should launch. If even with this fix you still can't launch the game or if you catch any text in language of your Fallout 2, let us know.

I have written about Party Orders Add-on in the previous post. Just to shortly reiterate - If you're using this Add-on and thus found out that orders are in Czech language, download this file and copy it into your Fallout 2/Resurrection directory.

The most serious bug that some of the players have encountered is quest "Eliminate the raiders hiding in Lost Town" from Frederyk in Sedit. If you have killed all the raiders and you can't report it to Frederyk, here you find information how to solve your problem with a hotfix.

If you experience frequent random crashes of the game during the combat, try the small change that could help you with it - Open file Fallout 2\Resurrection\fores.cfg for editing. Find the line that says "art_cache_size=524" and change number 524 to 256, then save the change.

How do I progress with
the tribals in Albuquerque? I encountered mercs from the hospital during a gecko hunt, I got the quest from the tribal leader, I know who is kidnapping the tribals (the hospital people admitted it and I talked to mutant hunters about it but they don't care. Nobody in Imperial City wants to talk about it). I don't have an option to tell anything to the tribal leader. Do I just attack the hospital on my own? Seems like I'm missing something

Go to the hospital slave pens. There's a tribal there that will talk to you.

Go into the hospital's room with all the mercs. In the back is a few cells, walk near one and a tribal will start talking in a float. Go near him or talk to him, don't remember.

You've got standard hires patch features. Just ignore the config exe and edit the config file directly. If you're on a normal DPI 1920x1080 monitor, I suggest running at 1920x1080, x2 scaler, dx9 graphics mode. That way the game interface is roughly the same physical size as originally intended and you get only slightly wider view of your surroundings, not a massive zoom-out with ants running around. Staying at native res means you can alt-tab without resolution switching and the hires patch scaler looks better than monitor/GPU scaling. DX9, in my experience, is the most stable graphics mode. Especially on newer Windows versions.

I agree with what epeli said, except instead of setting the game to 2x scaler, set it to 960x540. That will keep the font from looking fucked up because its a perfect 1:4 pixel mapping onto 1920x1080. You won't split the rendering of the low resolution font and graphics onto anisotropic subpixels, which is what makes low resolution games scaled to high look both blurry and sharp at the same time.

To be clear, in draw.ini set graphics mode to 4 or 5 (5 and playing with borderless gaming is superior for multi monitor users IMO, mouse is still trapped in window until you alt-tab), the resolution to your desktop's native 1920x1080, and GPUBlt=1. That's it for ddraw.

In f2_res.ini, set graphics_mode=0 which passes along game window resolution control to ddraw. Put scale_2x=0, and set the screen resolution to 960 and 540 (600 for :obviously: 16:10 owners). For fullscreen colors, set it to 8, and all the other graphics options are the same. Windowed does not need to be set to 1 in the subsequent options if you're using dx9 windowed mode, ddraw will handle that.

edit: for reference, this is how those settings make the game look:

Guys, can you help? I'm playing on laptop with 1920x1080 native resolution. I did all as agris said (I think) and I got game [screen/pic] stretched.
Played for few days but now it is alredy unbearable.

Run fores_config.exe, select set to default and save+exit. This will put everything back to original settings except the 2x scaler and palette conversion. Do what agris posted and you should be good to go.

Searching for my kidnapped sister
To farm caps/equipment

1. After getting Gecko Skinning perk (waaaaaaay late in Albu) those gecko encounter can be profitable enough though grindy.
2. The ghoul encounter is frankly terrifying, worth downing buffout+psycho to fight against them.
3. The Sedith-Corath Crimson Caravan can get ambushed by bandits fairly often. A group of 7, mostly packing desert eagles = around 5k in gun money and spare caps. You can sell the loot at Corath's Little Hub's librarian, or modify small guns at Mainstreet gunshop.

Anything else?
EDIT: both the ghoul and the bandits encounters are dangerous at Hard difficulty because high critical rate on their side. Even a combat armor wont help much. Dont be stingy with both Buffout and Psycho in such fights

That fucking ghoul encounter made me use my precious stimpacks :argh:

And without the help of the RNG god who gave me 2 burst crits, I wouldn't have made it.

For now I set 1280x720, but it is a little bit too small for my eyes.

Thanks, that worked.

ending spoiler
the Savior plot twist seems unnecessarily convoluted. He'd make more sense as a ghoul who uses most of the captured humans to keep himself effectively immortal, only occasionally transforming one of his followers for show. It would also give an evil player an opportunity to take savior's place and not die from the flesh degradation. Also the savior was a mutant hunter before founding the rebirth but I thought that mutant hunters were formed after the rebirth attacked Albuquerque for the first time, so either I got that wrong or it's some wonky continuity.
I have an idea how to not die from the flesh degradation but it's rather far fetched and would cause a whole new set of problems for you even if it worked and I doubt mod's creators thought of it anyway, will try when I get home if I still have access to that thing
That aside the mod is really good. Feels like a new Fallout game in the F1/2 continuity at times.
- combat changes are net positive, I think. You have things like the 10mm smg absolutely slaughtering deathclaws, but I'll take that over mid-tier armor making you immune to bullets from low tier guns.
- followers are weak in combat, have very weird arbitrary limits for armor, can't use some weapons and their AI is not great on top of that, aside from the good old "combat shotgun burst in your back" sometimes they just stand around and skip turns or switch weapons and walk around for no reason, I don't remember F2 companions being THAT annoying. Also
I like Lystra but Keri's whole point of existence seems to be that the game needed a companion at that point
- merchants have very few caps. Maybe it was supposed to be more hardcore but it's just tedious and time wasting, especially because there's a lot of buying stuff for caps via dialogue.
- it's too easy to completely shut yourself from quests and companions for no reason. For example
if you talk to Lystra and don't recruit her then and there she won't talk to you again, I had to reload an earlier save.
- it's really easy to miss things, there's tons of important quest people mixed in with hordes of generic NPCs.
- some of the scripted dialogue events between NPCs go on and on and on, they can't be skipped and often have long difficult fights after them
like the Imperial City anon questline

For the freezing/not responding errors while in widowed mode in the f2_res.ini set this:

; Set EXTRA_WIN_MSG_CHECKS=1 to prevent the "NOT RESPONDING" error that may occur in windowed mode.
; Adds extra windows message checks to several loops during combat and fade effects.
; This setting is always enabled if ALT_MOUSE_INPUT=1.
EXTRA_WIN_MSG_CHECKS=1
