are they? I think they've got two great starting rosters: 4xblitzer,1xrunner+2RR; 3xblitzer,1xwitch+2RR

Funny. I switched from the later to the former and I'm still not 100% happy with what I got - feels like there's too many holes in the squad and not enough positionals. Would probably end up switching back if entering the league didn't lock the current 11 as a Witch Elf is an ace up your sleeve that I don't like being without - even at the cost of that reliable 4th Blitzer


Guess it's the sign of a well developed roster that you always want more than you can afford when starting out - unlike most other teams where you can just get all positionals and have a little left over to spend.

I always start 4x Blitzer, 1x Runner and 2x RR. Amazing 1000TV roster.

The sad fact is that the strength of Dark Elf is not their cool positionals. Witch Elves get cool when you get the money for them, at which point I'd definitely play both, but some of the best coaches use only one Witch Elf consistently.

And sadly, yes, fuck assassins.

I know exactly what you mean. I skipped assassin at start. They don't really develop anyway.
