    I'm enjoying it. Does it live up to the hype? No, but it probably wouldn't have been able to regardless. It's good enough if you enjoy it for what it is. I guess it could be compared to an elder scrolls game with better combat mechanics, in a way it sort of reminds me of the old daggerfall...

    Think I'll agree with Legacy of Kain : Blood Omen, the whole series is pretty decent (sans Blood Omen 2) but Blood Omen is the best and entry point. Symphony of the Night is good but it doesn't really do much with Alucard's vampire status.

    1 - Story - First one is hard, I'll say Deus Ex or Dark Souls. 2 - Exploration/Ambience - Dark Souls 3 - C&C - Age of Decadence 4 - Tactics - Though it's easy I'd probably just go with Final Fantasy Tactics or maybe MechCommander 2 5 - Character Creation / Progression - Morrowind

    Total Warhammer 2, Fall of the Samurai, basically all of the CA titles. CK2 + any expansion is superior to CK2 with no expansion generally speaking as well. Dark Crusade and both of the Dawn of War 2 expansions. Warband.

    On some of the things, people are saying, yes Nasty is one of the worst NPCs ever and they go out of the way to make her essential to what you're doing. Blackhole is very strong and it's extremely easy to make "mental energy reserves", not sure how it compares to the outlaw or berserker faction...

    Occultist goes well with almost anything, necro I'm finding doesn't require too much attention to be paid. I like inquisitor better but find their skills are kind of an odd selection and lacking focus.
