  1. Codecks Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Discussion

Origin name is DarthBened1ct. One setup I've been finding a lot of fun is human soldier + claymore shotgun. Fire one shot, then turn on adrenaline rush for a free instant reload. Feels kind of like the hunting shotgun from killing floor.
  2. 40 Alien Swarm Custom Campaigns [Free game, free content]

Thanks, was getting pretty bored with the default campaign.
  3. A Glimpse of Full Magnitude of the Decline (FPS, Blood)

Anyone know of any good sourceports for blood?
  4. Suddenly... Serious Sam 3.

I've finished it. The game is visually less varied than second encounter, but the weapon balance and encounter design feel better. Letting you carry all the guns and having balance based around single player gives it a fair bit of ammo management depth you don't see in modern popamoles - is...
  5. Suddenly... Serious Sam 3.

It's like going back to before the decline of FPSs.
  6. The anti-D&D RPG fans

I don't really like the DnD because it has massive complexity for no reason. I'd be happy with a complicated system if it provided either depth or realism, but DnD doesn't.
  7. Turn based combat is considered better... Why?

I don't really think it's better, but if a game comes out with turn based combat I consider it a plus because it's so rare nowadays that even a thoroughly derivative TB game will feel unique.
  8. XenoRaptor

Sounds good, I guess the easiest thing would be to PM me with msn or facebook and we can arrange things through there.
  9. XenoRaptor

Coop is in, need some codex bros to help test it out over the internet. Australians would be preferable, otherwise pings might get a bit high.
  10. Hard Reset Demo is out

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJ7PgOJKbEk The doomguy is pretty slow.
  11. Hard Reset Demo is out

Darth Roxors analysis is spot on. It's like doom, except instead of being a space marine who can outrun rockets, you're an asthmatic walrus with a blowpipe.
  12. Hard Reset Demo is out

The player character is way too slow for the style of game. It's like quake, except you play an asthmatic walrus.
  13. Why can't I play a disabled character?

Tape down the crouch key and pretend your character has no legs.
  14. XenoRaptor

Multiplayer is now functional for FFA deathmatch, I'd be interested in testing it out with some codexers sometime. Also, I'll be starting work on the main single player mode in a month or so, so it's time to start thinking about how it will work a bit more seriously. For the first build, my...
