  1. Game News Steve Meister on the Fallout concept art

Concept art of Fallout 3 has nothing to do with the game, of course. MSFD didn't had his Alzheimer pill that day.
  2. Let's Play Daggerfall!

I'm playing for about a year ingame time, and no crashs and no corrupted save games 'til now. Only the loading times are annoying, and I have much fun in Daggerfall and the dungeons - Necromogham, Shedungent, Direnni Tower, Scourg Barrow...hehehe. Hours and hours and hours of dungeon crawling...
  3. Piranhabytes and Jowood separate, Gothic goes Console

Jowood is a cut-throat and has financial probs. Nevertheless G3 was a disappointment, and I didn't expected G4 to become much better from piranha bytes. In my eyes the Gothic series has died already, and so I'm not worrying about future developers and/or console shit. The G3 PC version was...
  4. Let's Play Daggerfall!

Sounds like a problem with the video - that's next after the ebony dagger from the emperor. Try escape key (two or three times) to skip intro videos. DF was executable under DOS-Box v0.63, but had poor performance at that version. I'm fine with v0.70 - but have only installed patch 213...
  5. Let's Play Daggerfall!

That's an order member, and he demands polite speaking. I'm not going to kill a member of my order. I've just speak to him to train my etiquette skill. And he's right, I'm able to localize a temple on the citymap. :D
  6. Brigade E5: New Jagged Union

Only if you're preferring squad based RT combat, and if you're a REAL hardcore fan of that genre. BE5 has too much flaws to like it, and if you expect a JA2 like gameplay, you'll be disappointed. Try the playable demo.
  7. Any other games like Darklands?

    It's running well under XP+DOS-Box v0.63, haven't played it under v0.70 yet.
  8. Brigade E5: New Jagged Union

BE5 has very poor and annoying camera controls. Most buldings can't be entered, and when you can enter them, the rooms are nearly empty. The maps are somewhat bald, and many bugs are awaiting you. The game looks like an alpha and is still in need of a few month of developement. The RT...
  9. Let's Play Daggerfall!

I have no problems with DF+patch213 under XP+DOS-Box (I'm using D-Fend as a frontender for DOS-Box). But I got problems with the unfriendly people there : :D
  10. Isometric??

There is isometric, pseudo-isometric, semi-isometric and non-isometric. Isometric : Fallout, Jagged Alliance, XCOM Pseudo-isometric : Caesar, Silent Storm (turnable view) Semi-isometric : NWN (additional non-isometric cameras) Non-isometric : S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Oblivion, Wasteland (first...
  11. Let's Play Daggerfall!

There is some levelling in Daggerfall, but it's decent. Human enemies are getting stronger, when your level rises. But you can meet too hard enemies incidently. And there is some loot leveling - stronger enemies have slightly better equipment to drop usually. Use a text editor. Write the DOS...
  12. Rape. (new image at official FO3 site)

I've checked the proportions and found : :)
  13. Deus Ex Three : Another shitty console game

Agreed. But there is still some fame from DX left.
  14. Deus Ex Three : Another shitty console game

Oh, is there still one series left to screw? Poor Deus Ex, now fastfood for the xbox kiddies. :(
  15. Let's Play Daggerfall!

DF has more than 750.000 NPCs, and has some more maps, too ( the above map is only a piece of the entire map). You can visit each of these countries. Part of Wayrest (with zoom function) Citymap of Daggerfall (5% of entire citymap) btw - you can enter every building My...
