  1. Preview Fallout 3 preview OVERLOAD

Yes, but is there concrete erosion? Or will that be in the DLC?
  2. Development Info Malcolm McDowell plays the bad guy in Fallout 3

He was also the baddie in a Wing Commander installment. I think it was #4---the price of freedom. Of course, he wasn't just voiceacting there, since every WC after #3 was full of FMV.
  3. Editorial Yet Another State of the RPG at GamePlayer

More likely, for their target audience. Remember, we're talking about people that couldn't find Caius Cosades or whatever his name was.
  4. STALKER V1.1 Patch beta leak (+free-play)

So actually I found a way to deal with my mutant overflow problem. This was in fact a suggestion I read at the official boards. Instead of removing mutants altogether (mutated wildlife excluded, as said before), which would be painstakingly hard and potentially game-breaking, the idea is to...
  5. STALKER V1.1 Patch beta leak (+free-play)

I liked STALKER but the ridiculous amount of monsters (for my taste) combined with the horrendous respawns killed it for me. I wouldn't mind giving it another shot if there was a mod that completely removed the monsters (perhaps besides mutated animals---those make more sense than ...
  6. Company News Go work at BioWare

That's cool, considering you'll also have a couple of nuclear power plants operational (in seismic regions too) by that time... :conspiracy:
  7. Review New Wave Gaming drools all over KOTOR

Because he's out of highschool and therefore has too much free time maybe?
  8. The Witcher Mods

Well, there is also naked Shani & Triss, upholding the great tradition that started with morrowind...
  9. Development Info The Witcher 1.2 patch and demo dates

Actually, in my 2nd run I was able to clear ALL suspects *before* doing either the autopsy OR going to the cemetery. If you explore all dialogue options AND if you make the choice in Ch1 that doesn't get a guy killed at Ch2, you actually have a shot at this.
  10. The Elder Scrolls series - need opinions!

Bah, I am amazed at the fact that some people take these polls seriously and even come up with wall-of-text replies! Voted for oblivion of course. Nuff said.
  11. Planescape Torment on Widescreen Monitor?

Indeed the samsung LCDs are made of win. I own a 19'' one and a 21.6'' widescreen and they are very very good. Excellent response time, fantastic colors and definitely easy on the eyes. I think 22'' widescreen is just about perfect for gaming purposes, if you place the monitor at a normal...
  12. DX2 was awesome, so Eidos is making a sequel... TEASER's UP!

Always the optimist. How is it impossible?
  13. The Witcher 1 Thread

I agree, the game needs an "extra-hard" difficulty mode, with more immunities for enemies, including fire and stun immunity, as well as a buffing of resistances to silver/steel. And while it's true you can get through the swamp without elixirs, it is quite painful. However, on the 2nd...
  14. The Witcher 1 Thread

What, 41 pages of praise are not sufficient for you? Ok let me make this easy: * Repetitive combat? Not really. Play on hard. Positioning is important, dodging is important, combat styles matter. Mashing the LMB will get you killed quickly. After you master combat, it actually flows...
  15. The Witcher 1 Thread

    * Albertus Kalkstein and Alfrod Nabel. * Druid hippies going all green and tree-hugging at the end * People singing the "imperial march" from Star wars. EDIT: Oh and the "knight-oath" in Act IV is a verbatim copy from "Kingdom of Heaven" (but without Liam this time).
