It all goes back to the EA vs Activision rivalry. Activision makes COD and has Blizzard, EA makes Battlefield and has BioWare. They even tried to compete with WoW by making SwTor. Fact is as long as Blizzard exists BioWare will exist. The only reason you don't have BioWare making mobile games...
  4. CD Projekt's Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 + Phantom Liberty Expansion Thread

The 3 games from Hairbrained Schemes. Also all Shadowrun books i've read have good endings. Looks like if i want my entertainment to leave me satisfied Shadowrun is the superior choice.

Press F to continue movie Play Shadowrun if you want a feelgood ending.

Because that shit is literally shoved in 5 years into development and can be resolved in one scene at the end with some techno babble. It has almost no influence on Vs overall arc. Fuck CDPR and their cringe hollywood worship.
  7. CD Projekt's Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 + Phantom Liberty Expansion Thread

After the heist goes wrong and he is dying there is a shift in his motivation. It is no longer about money and fame but survuval and some kind of redemtion arc except in the end the blaze of glory shit comes again out of nowhere and condradicts the entire arc. I thought the endings would redeem...
  8. CD Projekt's Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 + Phantom Liberty Expansion Thread

You mean in order to have a morally sound character you need to play as a janitor in cyberpunk or in any story for that matter? There will always be a disconnect between a players actions and motivations in a videogame but you can still write it in a way that lets you roleplay however you want.
  9. CD Projekt's Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 + Phantom Liberty Expansion Thread

I have never seen a more retarded fanbase than the cyberpunk people. IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE THE SAME STORY AND SAME MOTIVATION AND SAME ENDING IN EVERY CYBERPUNK STORY. Well if the setting doesn't give you the creative freedom to tell the story you want to it's just a shit setting then isn't it...
  10. CD Projekt's Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 + Phantom Liberty Expansion Thread

I always said this is more of an on rails movie than a game. The one quest that got me curious is the Peralez quest with the secret room. Now that would have been a good main plot, a noir detective mystery with lots of twists and turns. Shit like this should have been the main focus of the game...

Calm down there mr. ukraine, not everyone wants 6 flavors of shit on their plate.
  12. CD Projekt's Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 + Phantom Liberty Expansion Thread

Will you be able to reach max level without the dlc? Anyway it's basically confirmed that V dies no matter what this thing is going to bring to the table so is it even worth playing the game all over again? Woah that's some futuristic shit.
