Is Silmeria any good??
Is it better than original VP?
Do the characters likeable?
Do the combat, gameplay, etc. still the same with VP1?
I mean no tsundere, moe, or any modern anime abominations.
Folks in Xenogears are fine in my books, whereas I hate, loathe, despise everybody in Xenosaga.
It's utter shit in every way. I dropped it after 5 hours of play.

Characters are insufferable, cutscenes everywhere and the combat is popamole shit compared to VP1.

I'm really want that Witcher 3 and Dragon Age III (Yeah, I know Bioware= high chance of shit) are successful and Bethesda is forced to make something decent and I have an open world game that is more than a hike simulator to see pretty graphics. Couldn't manage to play Skyrim without mods. It is better than Oblivion because mods can somewhat compensate for Bethesda retardation, something that is impossible for Oblivion and Fallout 3.

That is definitely not true. The main retardation of Oblivion was the level scaling which is very easy to fix, and which numerous mods did fix.

Going into Deep Spess in Kerbal Space Program.

Newest mission of Polant launch, medium-sized carrier-rocket propel heavy "Lodmor" mission.

rksp22.png

Lodmor mission consist of kethane detection orbiter and lander drill, both part of same interplanetary vehicle. Target is Vall, the medium-sized icy moon of Jool. Final stage get entire payaload into orbit with ease, show might of communism and cause much envy of fat cat capitalist.

rksp23.png

After over 400 day, jetissoning two empty "drop tanks" and using over half of total fuel interplanetary vehicle prepare for orbital insertion of Jool.

rksp24.png

Brilliant socialist space flight engineer put probe on very close rendezvous trajector with Vall while still in high and eccentric Jool orbit. Soon proletariat celebrate this accurate achievement of socialist science.

rksp25.png

Probe make picture of Jool from up close and inner-most second biggest moon Laythe as it head to Vall.

rksp26.png

Indeed engineer sent probe to a 37 kilometer distance from surface. No correction burn needed, such is proficiency of communist flight engineer.

rksp27.png

Bun for the entering orbit of Vall above sharp icy landscape.

rksp28.png

Orbit achieved, separating orbiter which will look for potato gas also known as kethane (kethane mod).

rksp29.png

Orbiter deploy panel and activate ion engine to enter polar orbit for maximum scan area.

rksp210.png

Having found potato gas deposit not far from equator decision made to land lander there. Descent begun (note: the autopilot is off, I simply had it turned on to know my landing site coordinates after touchdown, this was all manual)

rksp211.png

Interplanetary stage jettison and crash as lander slightly over 250 meter from surface, final descent engine activate.

rksp212.png

Success! Lander land without having to use all fuel from two external tank. Panel deploy and kethane extraction begun, potato gas has been found within ice of Vall! Great day for working class of world and markzism-keninism.

The Trademark for Anachronox is in DEAD status. As for ownership of the IP I would *assume* Eidos might own it. Or it is the huge tangled mess that System Shock was in (but was finally unraveled recently).

Glad I didn't give any shit about this game back then.
Indeed PS1 was the golden age of JRPG, even better than SNES era IMO.
The devs like Square back then did so much experiments and explorations of the genre so we can have Vagrant Story, FFT, to Chrono Cross.
Now almost every new JRPG is shit, games like Tales of series destroy everything for me..
Thanks for the infos. :salute:

Oh, and also this:
Sum_2013_01_23_10_49_48_26.jpg

What game is that?
As q3d7 said, Summoner. Available to both PS2 and PC. PS2 version is notable for lack of markers and long loading times, so if you'd like some additional force to exploring, quite interesting lore and slow pacing... well, the game is probably for you, brother. However, the 'dialogue' system is quite weird at start, but you'll get used to is quite fast.
Also, design of the enemies reminds me of samurais and other Eastern stuff (while your allies look quite western). Looks like the allegory to weaboo RPGs trying to conquer the west, if you ask me.
If you like walls of text, Summoner is RPG for you. Too bad that the second one is for PS2 only, but thanks to the stable pcsx2 it won't be a problem.
It's also available for GameCube, but with some differences which weren't well-received.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Sounds like it's right up my alley. Also I dig early 3D graphics like these.
Gonna hunt it down and give it a try!
