Enough votes already to go on. Therefore a technical draw happened between the New Integralism Party and the Liberal Party, and this will lead to a quite different consequence because if this was a mod it would not be totally illusion of choices like Kaiserreich.

Update coming later

Nevertheless, I will count the two votes after my previous post because I'd rather not waste time with the hell of event editing creating a civil war between democratic and fascist factions would take.

==============================================

dogfight.jpg

The Battle of Britain

It has been a difficult campaign. For Sosnkowski, factions like the Juche and the New Integralists were as much of a threat for the future of humanity as the aliens were, although he sighed at the soft underbelly of Democracy. Hopefully the manboons would not be that manboon to put a joint-government of Peron and Vargas with a bunch of Nazi refugees in Argentina as eminence grises in control of an entire continent.

Fortunately, except for Canada, North and Central Amerikwa seemed totally free from the influences of the two authoritarian parties, which he feared mostly because of the damage they could cause with their tyranny against the long-term goal of liberating Eurasia and Africa.

Thus they waited. They waited for the election results in that 11th of November. They hoped that the very Kwanzanians saved by men like him wouldn't betray them by siding with the tyrannies of Juche and New Integralism. Being manboons, they could perhaps be easily fooled by cheap tricks and empty promises and forget everything the Poles contributed to in the salvation of Amerikwa.

lphoi2spitfire001.jpg

Sosnkowski was serene. The people have recognized what his first four years delivered: the liberation of an entire continent, inch by inch, paid in blood and sacrifice, the transformation of a doomed land into the salvation of the human race, into the greatest civilization that has ever existed in the history of humanity, into perhaps a distant hope of breaking all national boundaries and unifying humanity into one people, one democratic State and one culture, ending all wars and conflicts for once and all and starting the Golden Age of humanity. Perhaps the dumbest type of manboon that would give more value to bullshit, populism, vote-buying and demagoguery than to proven merit when making a choice mostly perished because of ITZ.

The results were clear. 51% voted for Sosnkowski, Schumpeter and the Liberal Party in spite of so many different candidates, with many of these votes being taken off another candidate, Ayn Rand, because of Joseph Schumpeter. There was a scary result though, in the fact that despite not enough to be a problem, the New Integralism went third place with a sizable 15%, followed by the Objectivists(12%), Social-democrats(10%), and the epic failures of Democratic Communism(2%), and Juche(1%). Incredibly enough, the second most voted candidate didn't even exist, because if he did, kingcomrade would have a bright political future having gathered 24% of votes already without even making any kind of political campaign or even announcing he was a candidate.

Upon being reassured as the Prime Minister of All Kwanzanias, Kazimierz Sosnkowski began to focus mostly on military and foreign policy while Joseph Schumpeter tried to pull his leg about getting Ludwig von Mises into the cabinet, unsuccessfully. Privatization of the military was too much for Sosnkowski, specially the idea of doing so while more than 70% of the surface of Earth is occupied by aliens. Instead, he continued to slowly pressure the allies at Foedus of Man to give up all their territories in America in accordance to the Reagan Doctrine.

lphoi2spitfire002.jpg

The British, being the most close allies and the only ones that were not afraid of ceding because their entire homeland was occupied by legions of aliens, also decided to provide free blueprints for improving the still conceptual Air Marines of the UDMS-KKK.

Meanwhile, while the dissent was problematic, simply letting aliens bomb Japan unpunished would not reduce it. Instead, measures would be taken soon to stop these attacks.

lphoi2spitfire003.jpg

The last batch of piston prop driven fighters of the UDSM-KKK, made from the survivors of the air slaughter in San Jose and previously tasked at protecting the coast of Brazil from random bomber attacks, would fight in a honorable last battle before their decommission due to obsolescence.

lphoi2spitfire004.jpg

Despite the fact they were prop-driven, these enemy aircrafts, being bombers were still built for payload over speed, which made their technological advantage somewhat moot without escort fighters of their own. Still, they were tough and tended to cause serious wear to the fighters trying to match their speed, putting them out for maintenance for long times and thus making attempts at air superiority complicated.

However, 15th of November was the day several Turbojet fighters had their production completed. The day Britain would finally have a chance of fighting back the continuous harassment of strategic bombers. It was not a battle so far. It was the Slaughter of Britain due to how one-sided it was. With the turbojets coming from the gathering centers in Brazil, piloted by Poles, Canadians, Kwans, Brazilians, Argentinians and all kinds of nationalities residing in the UDMS-KKK, they would truly begin it, as soon as they were organized enough.

lphoi2spitfire006.jpg

The Reagan Policy was also a guide for all kinds of foreign relations. There was no care about the impact about reputation that puffing the chest and demanding all the American territories from the decrepit colonial empire of Netherlands would bring. Amerikkkwa for the Amerikkkwans! Hopefully, the fact they would actively fight to defend the British Isles against alien terror bombings would be far more remembered by History than their heavy-handed diplomacy to expel most European countries from America and most of the Atlantic. For, soon would begin:

And thus, the Battle of Britain was finally won. England would finally know peace after 3 years suffering the misery of perpetual bombings. Air supremacy has been achieved. The enemies suffered gigantic losses of bomber UFOs in an air battle for the first time since the beginning of the War of the Worlds. The first generation of turbojet fighters however, has proven insufficient to secure its victory in 1:1 battle against enemy fighters, although for some the reason was the lack of proper Air Doctrine research first than the technological differences. Nevertheless, March 18, 1945 would be forever remembered as the day the Battle of Britain finally ended, even if probably some suicidal deliveries of strategic bombers to be exterminated by the PZL Lim-1 fighters would continue for a while.

The primary conclusion from the first dogfights in the history of humanity between non prop-driven aircraft was simple: the window of opportunity to hit a target becomes very short when the engagement involves airplanes capable of flying at far faster speeds than anything developed before them. A new alternative had to be developed, and perhaps, the seemingly pointless researches in flying bombs and strategic rockets could lend the concept of guidance systems into a new type of weapon for aircrafts.

lphoi2spitfire027.jpg

And finally, the bombers would have escort fighters fitted with turbojets, although for the moment this benefit would have little use, it would be a second step in the long road to embrace the first generation and the generations to come of turbojet civilian and military aircrafts.

While the Battle of Britain raged on, the only relevant events(separated to not break "lyrical" style of that section) are these:

lphoi2spitfire017.jpg

The entirety of America proper belonged to the Americans. The primary ideological objective of the Reagan Doctrine was accomplished. No European governments would ever control any inch of America again.

lphoi2spitfire018.jpg

sm_droppod.jpg

Among the new advances of the Air Marines were included Large Unit Drop Pods. Unfortunately these specific drop pods were developed with limited technology that doesn't allow for them to be airtight and make atmospheric entry in a planet, and even if they could there would be no DC-8 with rocket engines to put them in orbit anyway. However, the basic concept behind the future Space Marines was slowly being developed.

lphoi2spitfire019.jpg

inc_spearhead_550x350.jpg

No comments needed.

The Super-heavy tank model was renamed to Baneblade

lphoi2spitfire022.jpg

Soon the piston prop would also be replaced by turbojets in the tactical bombers of the UDMS-KKK. Although this would not entitle them to stand a chance against Tripods, the bulk of enemy forces was made of undead infantry, and against them, they would be more powerful. Specially because the far more destructive and recently developed fuel-air bombs would be part of their arsenal.

lphoi2spitfire024.jpg

After a long diplomatic campaign of reapproachment, Portugal cedes. With Cape Verde Islands under their control, the UDMS-KKK can put transport aircrafts in range to drop Air Marines in Africa without depending from UK logistics. However, some Spanish island chains would allow them to do the same about Europe.

lphoi2spitfire026.jpg

After many sacrifices of the Death Watch, another mostly worthless technology for the UDMS-KKK, because it has taken a doctrine focused on amphibious operations, infantry, marines, special forces and Air marines supported by technologies and methods that enable effective night operations, and is incompatible with the "Modern Blitzkrieg". Considering the challenge ahead, starting all over again in doctrines to go for Modern Blitzkrieg is dumbest than the dumbest dumbfuck could ever do.

Also, shitty slowdown 1945-ownards is shitty. It reached the point where "Very Fast" is faster than "Extremely Fast", which is why updates will take longer to be posted from now on until things get really heated up.

Preparing for D-Day and a Chilling Revelation

lphoi2ddayprep001.jpg

rare-german-u-boat-color-shot.jpg

With Air Superiority secured over Britain, slowly, millions of soldiers were being redeployed near major harbors, while several submarines were sent to the recently built naval bases at the acquired islands at the west coast of Africa, in part of preparations for an amphibious operation that would be greater than everything every done before: The D-Day, the Liberation of Europe. The time was coming, the long research projects were soon to give the first fruits. Nearly four million soldiers would land upon the shores of Europe and Africa once everything was ready, secured by the bravery of the mighty Air Marines.

lphoi2ddayprep002.jpg

US_paratroopers_jump_into_Australia.jpg

The Drop Planes would soon be constructed. Enough to drop almost a million of Air Marines and provide aerial supplying for them. It would be in the next year, 1946, that hopefully, by North Hemisphere summer, everything would be ready for the great operation.

lphoi2ddayprep003.jpg

A long overdue modernization of the the special infantry begins. They are the human spearhead of the UDMS-KKK army, their advanced equipment and skills able to punch through landscapes where tanks would barely manage to travel.

lphoi2ddayprep004.jpg

USS_Cleveland_CL-55.jpg

Slowly, the entire attention of the UDMS-KKK is direct to Atlantic isles and to the English Channel. Both Second and Main Battlefleets, with a few reinforcements of new escorts, including the infamous USS Cleveland Mark Blakemore, that has survived through some of the deadliest and greatest naval battles ever fought.

lphoi2ddayprep005.jpg

mig_15paint.jpg

The Battle of Britain was won, but not over. Meanwhile, the Second Battlefleet begins an important mission: the reconaissance of all territories under reach of the future Drop Planes to check if there is any vulnerability that could be exploited by Air Marines.

lphoi2ddayprep006.jpg

In Africa, Tambacounda and the large stretches of land over the Sahara, combined with the strangely not invaded Spanish territories, will serve to encircle part of their forces over the coast, and then the submarines that were sent to the islands shall do their part. Tambacounda shall serve as the primary staging area for the advance into Africa, intended to involve 1 million combatants and a sizable amount of aircrafts to provide support. This would occur in parallel to one or at most two additional staging areas. The challenge would be significant, for according to Intel the enemy forces were between 11 and 14 million combatants.

lphoi2ddayprep007.jpg

Another potential staging area, if somehow it could be possible to push the remnants of Spain to cede all their islands in the Atlantic.

lphoi2ddayprep008.jpg

The rapid construction of an air base in either Ceuta or Mogador would allow for Air Marines to attempt seizing both or either Marrakesh and Gibraltar, reopening the Mediterranean to humanity. There would be many risks and alternatives to consider, and it would not be easy. The enemy far outnumbers their forces, no matter how massive they look.

lphoi2ddayprep009.jpg

Meanwhile, more deals are made with Britain.

lphoi2ddayprep010.jpg

No inch of the west coast France seems to have been left undefended, even despite lacking a beachhead for an amphibious operation. Although some have been left for poorly fit divisions to hold, strangely. Fortress Europe will be difficult to storm.

lphoi2ddayprep011.jpg

Very, very difficult.

lphoi2ddayprep012.jpg

Yet Wilhelmshafen, the landing zone of the first aliens to set foot on Earth, and presumedly the center of operations of these aliens, was very lightly defended. Perhaps, with their center of operations destroyed or surrounded, their combat capabilities would severely be diminished.

With the reconaissance of all shores of interest concluded. It was realized that, there were three viable staging points: For Air Marines to land in the Sahara and Tambacounda in Africa, isolating part of the enemy forces and making the enemy resort to convoys that could thus be targeted by nearby submarines, while landing all other forces in Tambacounda to advance in Africa, and hopefully divert the enemy's attention from Europe, by trying to take quickly with air marines all coastal area in Normandy and Netherlands that are poorly defended, immediately deploying forces over them to begin the liberation of Europe, and maybe, by making a daring operation in North Africa that would put their Air Marines in range to seize Gibraltar, allowing for more soldiers to break through Spain and open the Mediterranean, and by landing a few at Hammerfest, still strangely not occupied by the aliens, to launch a diversionary offensive..

The only certainty was that many men would die, far more than those who gave their lives in Managua and San Jose.

lphoi2ddayprep013.jpg

baneblade_motivator.jpg

Despite severe criticisms from several skeptics, many proposed a super-heavy tank as a counter to the dreaded tripods. The Baneblade would, if successful, become the largest tank to ever be deployed and used in battle, and the largest tank ever built. It would be a symbol of power, like the Japanese Battleship Yamato, like the German Bismarck, like the Airships of the Second World War. Except it would not share the same fate of these.

lphoi2ddayprep014.jpg

Eventually, all necessary research is concluded. More than half a million Air Marines will be trained for the upcoming operation.

lphoi2ddayprep015.jpg

Aware perhaps of what was intended, the enemy was conducting runway cratering missions against Cape Verde Islands. But no more as Air superiority is achieved. Meanwhile, the men prepare to embark on their journey overseas, a massive logistical setup created to support so many.

lphoi2ddayprep016.jpg

lphoi2ddayprep017.jpg

Millions that would be readied for an operation planned for the year of 1946, an operation intended to turn the tide of an once hopeless conflict for once and all. They all knew that once the first human soldiers stepped over Europe and Africa, it would only be over once either all of them were exterminated or once the last alien scum has been purged from Earth. This second phase of the War of the Worlds, if successful, could last for many years.

However, despite constant naval interdiction operations from both Battlefleets, they didn't expect one surprise. One Chilling revelation that would change everything:

lphoi2ddayprep018.jpg

carrier.jpg

The aliens have adapted their tactics for naval warfare. They were now sending massive fleets of nuclear powered aircraft carriers with supersonic carrier air groups to hunt allied shipping, always escorted by destroyers. If they could adapt their tactics like that, maybe eventually they would start conducting amphibious invasions on their own. And if that happened, the odds would suddenly take a turn against humanity.

lphoi2ddayprep019.jpg

lphoi2ddayprep020.jpg

To call what happened while the two battlefleets readied themselves to save the transports and soldiers inside those ships a slaughter would be an understatement. Had this gigantic fleet arrived earlier, the entire D-Day preparations could be ruined and millions of soldiers could die, drowning in the ocean.

lphoi2ddayprep021.jpg

Dozens of thousands had this as their last trip. The enemy had no mercy. They killed military and civilian alike. It was clear that once possible, every alien, every alien, regardless of gender or age, has to be exterminated

To be Unclean; That is the Mark of the Xeno
To be Impure; That is the Mark of the Xeno
To be Abhorred; That is the Mark of the Xeno
To be Reviled; That is the Mark of the Xeno
To be Hunted; That is the Mark of the Xeno
To be Purged; That is the fate of the Xeno
To be Destroyed; For that is the fate of all Xenos

And this universal paradigm would not apply only to Earth. Once Poland and the UDMS-KKK go to space, this would be the official foreign policy. However, right now, the announciation of the greatest naval disaster in the history of the UDMS-KKK since the slaughter of the Italian Navy stranded in the Mediterranean was beginning.

Battle of the English Channel: Last Stand of the former US Navy

lphoi2ddayprep022.jpg

82568095_790ca6ad20.jpg

The greatest Naval battle the UDMS-KKK has ever fought. Legions of nuclear-powered aircraft carriers with air wings far more advanced than anything they could field, escorted by destroyers so advanced their guns seemed to not be manned at all. Although they knew they had no chance of winning, if they retreated, nearly half a million of soldiers in transports just east of their position would be completely defenseless against the upcoming slaughter. Thus they have chosen to make their stand. The Last Stand of the remnants of the former United States Navy.

USS_Cleveland_CL-55.jpg

The Cleveland would (attempt) to engage dozens of supersonic aircrafts heading for the capital ships. They simply ignored it, its man-handled cannons to innacurate to target aircrafts able of flying so quickly. The still prop based carrier air groups of the three carriers were both outnumbered and technologically obsolete when facing the legions of alien aircrafts.

lphoi2ddayprep023.jpg

In only three hours of battle, two capital ships have already been sunk, the situation was indeed hopeless, but they would not retreat, they would do whatever it takes to ensure as many soldiers as possible could reach safely Britain.

lphoi2ddayprep024.jpg

HermesSinking.jpg

But in face of such a powerful fleet and its legions of aircrafts, they were simply slaughtered. All large carriers of the UDMS-KKK Navy have reached the bottom of the sea in this dread 4th of September and the USS Belleau Wood only didn't sink out of sheer luck, and would require several months to be repaired back into combat-readiness. One of its two surviving battleships and two heavy cruisers also was sunk.

The UDMSN has been completely defeated on this dark 4th of September of 1945. All it had left was one battleship, a few heavy cruisers and the severely damaged Belleau wood coupled with a fortunately still large amount of escorts, including the USS Cleveland that have somehow managed to survive such slaughter. To make matters worse, the UDMS-KKK would have to develop its own naval technology instead of relying on the surviving naval vessels of old countries from scratch if she was to rebuild its Navy and challenge the now clear naval supremacy of the aliens, as the knowledges of Kwanzania were lost during ITZ.

D-Day would be a far more complicated operation than first thought, dozens of thousands have already died. The enemy had nearly a hundred of carriers. Many no longer expected for the operation to happen in 1946 at all.

lphoi2ddayprep025.jpg

And the part that came too late to cross the English Channel would lead to the death of more dozens of thousands, to further salt the pain of this disastrous naval defeat. Churchill would say this was the greatest military disaster of history since the complete obliteration of most armies of the world but the Italian and South American armies, that now served mostly under the UDMS-KKK flag.

lphoi2ddayprep027.jpg

Part of the Transports heading for England in the preparation for the D-Day also was struck down by enemy interceptors. Fortunately none of the units was completely annihilated.

lphoi2ddayprep026.jpg

Like mentioned, to rebuild the Navy, they would have to literally start from scratch. It would be a long time. Too long. People could decide to forsake Eurasia if too much time passed without successful operations on ground. But Sosnkowski couldn't. He still remembered his homeland, he still dreamed of the day the Polish flag would once again rise over Warsaw.

Would he risk the lives of millions for Europe, to launch an Airborne and Amphibious operation without naval superiority over the English Channel, over the far north of Norway and over Africa?

But most worrissome of all: could the enemy ever "learn" how to conduct amphibious assaults and once again become a far more substantial threat than they already are?

The stakes were raising, and soon, battles of a scale never seen before would begin, for soon, Four million humans would fight against legions of more than ten million alien forces.

I have a bad feeling about this. I would advise against full scale operation, but for something less ambitious: quick assault on easily defensible peninsula, like Iberia, Korea, or Malaya, moping up the remaining alien forces in the area, and building a defensive line in the narrowest possible passage. That could be a good test of capabilities of UMDS-KKK army and could also keep a part of the alien army busy going to or occupying the neighbouring provinces. In my Canadian game, the Soviets always kept their enormous stacks of doom just sitting in front of my Maginot Line #2.

Anyways,

Ultramarines in Africa: the day the greatest Campaign ever fought would begin.

lphoi2airmarines001.jpg

By late September, the enemy begins to harass the transport fleets awaiting for the great day with their carrier air groups. There was a growing worry as well about the D-Day plans. With the enemy carrying powerful fleets, it would be a dangerous enterprise. Some suggested to strike at the very heart of the enemy invasion: Wilhelmshaven. Others proposed a far more ambitious plan: to launch the liberation of Africa as soon as possible, and hopefully draw away the enemy forces from Europe. There would be, right now, as exact numbers, about three million and half soldiers of the UDMS-KKK against either 11 or 14 million-strong enemy forces. It would not be easy.

lphoi2airmarines002.jpg

The carriers took some damage, and the attack ended for now. However, unable to directly challenge their supremacy, the only thing left for the UDMS-KKK was to resort to her several tactical bombers, using them to attack the enemy naval forces.

For them and their escorts were going to be far more advanced than the carrier air groups that fought to the last in the Battle of the English Channel, as their upgrades into turbojet tactical bombers began. And thus they'd reorganize, awaiting to begin patrolling the seas.

lphoi2airmarines004.jpg

baneblade_489650.jpg

Immediately upon the development of a practical super-heavy tank, the production of new medium tank divisions with Baneblade brigades was ordered. They would be the primary force of breakthrough in the UDMS-KKK army, the ones that would spearhead all attacks against the dreaded tripods from now on.

lphoi2airmarines005.jpg

Improved artillery and anti-tank guns were sought shortly after.

Battle of Britain, again

Realizing the futility of sending unescorted bombers, the enemy decided to attempt forcing through air superiority. At 1:1 odds, the technological superiority of the enemy was making this a battle turning against them. But they refused to cede, sending a distress call for more fighters to come to their aid as the battle goes on.

lphoi2airmarines007.jpg

mig15crash.jpg

Although they manage to down a large amount of the enemy UFOs, they also take heavy losses and are about to lose the battle unless the reinforcements came soon enough to make a difference. A brutal air battle, with insanely fast dogfights proceeded. It was a death wish to be up there.

lphoi2airmarines008.jpg

ufobattle.jpg

When everything seemed lost, a large amount of fighters finally arrived to save the day. Outnumbered, the enemy interceptors began to be hunted down and from predator they turned to prey. Three of their wings were nearly wiped out in the end.

lphoi2airmarines009.jpg

This was the first time an engagement between air wings made exclusively of fighters led to such a victory without totally overwhelming numerical superiority. It was the confirmation that right now, the UDMS-KKK was ready for the great operations that were yet to be decided on when to begin.

However, the enemy might not give up on air superiority over the British Isles so easily.

lphoi2airmarines010.jpg

supermarine-spitfire.jpg

Meanwhile, a pair of enemy strategic bombers crossed the way of the UDMS-KKK turbojet escort fighter wings and tactical bombers, and of a British wing of the legendary Supermarine Spitfire.

lphoi2airmarines011.jpg

And there was not much left of these enemy forces after the battle.

lphoi2airmarines012.jpg

However, now the turbojet tactical bombers that patrolled the seas for enemy ships were under attack by the dreaded UFO fighters. Immediately several air wings were called to the rescue while their escort fighters were doing their best.

lphoi2airmarines013.jpg

4449509985_f497ea3f0e_z.jpg

Supermarine Spitfires are the first to save the day. It takes ubermensch balls to fight against such advanced enemies in such so obsolete aircraft, and despite that, present an excellent performance in battle. :salute:

lphoi2airmarines014.jpg

lphoi2airmarines015.jpg

Soon the enemies are outnumbered, losing three entire wings of their best air combat UFOs. This is one of the greatest air battles ever fought, and one of the greatest victories in the air against this enemy since the beginning of the war. However, there was a feeling the enemy still didn't give up on crushing the dreams of a D-Day.

lphoi2airmarines016.jpg

In 4th of November, the first Chapters of the Air Marines were ready. the loyal and extremely honorable Ultramarines, the crafty and agile Mexicarines, the cautious and knowledgeable Blood Ravens and the fanatical and faithful Grey Knights stood ready to be the first human soldiers to step upon either Africa or Europe since 1941. It was then that finally a decision was made, specially in face of the crushing disaster of the Battle of the English Channel, these brave men were ordered to wait for transports that would take them to the Cape Verde Islands, the staging grounds of the liberation of Africa.

lphoi2airmarines017.jpg

In 9th of November, the enemy tried once again. Their forces seemed relentless no matter how many losses they suffered.

lphoi2airmarines018.jpg

One of the Expeditionary Air Forces air wings was nearly wiped out.

lphoi2airmarines019.jpg

But reinforcements arrived in time to revert the situation.

lphoi2airmarines020.jpg

By now the enemy has nearly lost 12 fighter air wings in the Battle of Britain, at this rate, it seemed clear that the UDMS-KKK, despite suffering significant losses, was gaining the upper hand.

lphoi2airmarines021.jpg

The Death Watch heroic and unsung operations led to more results. Unfortunately of no real use because the UDMS-KKK strategy will put strategic bombing of industries as not relevant.

lphoi2airmarines022.jpg

Escorted by their parasite Jet fighters, the eight wings of tactical bombers begin a daring operation: to attack against the heart of the enemy, and destroy a fleet docked at Wilhelmsaven.

And they did so, with near impunity. One transport sunk per day.

Until things got really nasty above the skies of Bristol. An entire air wing was lost to the UFOs.

lphoi2airmarines025.jpg

mig15formation.jpg

Three wings prepared to engage these UFOs during the night. The battle was, in certain ways, insane. Without daylight, darkness was near everywhere and dogfights challenged pilots to give their best. Reinforcements were due to arrive as maximum alert was set among all fighter wings in Southern England.

lphoi2airmarines026.jpg

The enemies were heavily pounded, but both sides ran out of fuel before the battle could become decisive.

lphoi2airmarines027.jpg

By 28th of November, An entire fleet of transports has been successfully annihilated from Willhelmshaven. It was known by Intel Copenhagen also hosted an alien fleet, but unfortunately the current tactical bombers lacked range to reach it from any base in England. The naval bombardment operations were thus concluded with astounding success.

After it, enemy activity over the skies of Britain have virtually halted. This addendum to the Battle of Britain also was won.

drive-me-closer.jpg

The current tanks of the UDMS-KKK were a shame next to the glory of the Baneblade. Thus research was needed to develop more adequate tanks to face the kind of enemy they were facing: the Xenos. But the decision was made. They'd have to do with the meager clones of Soviet projects that never came to be by the Soviet Union itself.

Upon the New Years' Eve of 1946, the Liberation of Africa shall begin.

Operation Failure of the Free Market Garden 2: Stand of the Ultramarines

Soundtrack

lphoi2airmarines029.jpg

The Polish Expeditionary forces, commanded by the best general of the entire UDMS-KKK military, the legendary Major General Anders, crewed by the most hardened veterans, famed for having among their men Sergeants and other NCOs that stood among the veterans who survived all the great battles since the Nazi invasion of Poland in September of 1939. No division of the UDMS-KKK was so skilled, famed and blood veteran as this one. They would be among the men who would land in Africa as soon as the Ultramarines secured Tambacounda.

lphoi2airmarines030.jpg

They made the preparations. The plan was the following: The Grey Knights, Mexicarines and Blood Ravens would be airdropped upon the Sahara Desert and make their stand. The Ultramarines would be airdropped at Tambacounda, and hold out until the more than half million men landed to support them, while another above half million man-strong force would secure the Spanish territories strangely still not occupied by the enemy. Then, if possible, they would push the enemy divisions pocketed among these three regions and crush them, while submarines based upon Cape Verde, Ascunsion and St. Helena blockaded them from supplies to their best capabilities.

Never before an operation like this one has been attempted. In this beginning of 1946, the enemy would be pushed back, no matter the time, no matter the cost. The survival of humanity on the long term depended upon victory. The transports sunk at Wilhemshaven could be an omen of what the enemy was planning, of what they would do if not attacked.

lphoi2airmarines031.jpg

ultra.jpg

These Ultramarines lacked the luxury of power armors. Their equipment was far less advanced than the equipment of the Ultramarines of the next Century, but their determination, courage and strength were no different. Upon then lied the burden of taking the first step for the liberation of three continents, a task that would cost millions of lives, if it could be successful.

Everything was set. Soon their time of glory, or doom, would begin.

Both regions lacked any enemy presence, allowing for the Air Marines to drop safely on the ground and prepare for the coming battle, for that would change soon. A supply convoy to Tambacounda was already started. On the wasteland, and on the jungle, the patriots awaited their fate.

The Ultramarines were, just one hour after landing, attacked by highly advanced tanks and alien soldiers in power armor. The Battle of Africa has begun. It was only the beginning of the greatest War Campaign ever fought in the history of the planet.

And in six months, Operation Underlord would begin, as Europe would be the next target of landings: The brave Air Marines there however, according to the current plan, would go straight for Wilhelmshaven. The stakes increased, the Battle for Earth was soon to reach another as crucial moment as the evacuation of Italy and the liberation of South America. From Africa, the plan was to use air bases in Morocco to secure Gibraltar, and continue advancing through land and sea until reaching the Suez. From there, Africa would be forsaken due to its small strategic importance, and a small force would blockade the aliens stranded in Africa through the Suez Channel.

However, much could happen, and plans might have to be changed.

The Ultramarines will have to hold their ground for 4 hours until the reinforcements arrive. I think they can make it :salute: . That's pretty quick, considering 500 000 soldiers are going to land in these African beaches :smug:. Good luck in invading Europe, you're going to need it. Let us pray aliens spread their armies evenly throughout the world, for even if they kept one third of their forces in the continent, the forces of humanity would be doomed.

No way you can set a second front on Madagascar?

How much IC does the enemy have?

Also, told you the Jap tech teams would be an upgrade to the Polish ones. Time to tech rush for Carriers and Base Strike Doctrine.

France has no logistical conditions to supply the amount of soldiers, ships and airplanes that would have to station there for it.

Almost twice the effective IC of the UDMS-KKK. However as I mentioned before, despite all their advanced technologies and alike, the aliens have one huge strategic shortcoming, as you can see. As for what their "manpower growth" consists into, I'll leave it to your imagination.

Exactly what is being done. Unfortunately by the time it is finished and a modern carrier fleet can be launched, it may be kind of moot strategically depending on how things go.

This page has enough updates already. I haven't played the game yet further enough for another update anyway but I'd rather not post one more update in this page.

By default, occupant gets 5% of nominal manpower growth from all provinces that have a land connection with his capital. Considering the fact Aliens currently control whole Eurasia and Africa, i believe it to be quite huge.

Nope. Their TC is totally overloaded, they are drained of manpower, and roughly with 1 manpower growth/day while the UDMS-KKK has nearly 4 MP/day growth. In other words, an attrition war would work this time, if it takes that to liberate Europe, but won't be the primary strategy, only a last resort, like what happened in San Jose because of the lack of other alternatives.

Anyway am I not bro enough like Furious Flaming Faggot to get more comments or is HoI2 not as cool as EUIII and I missed the memo?

AfrikaKKKorps, Forward! The Battle for West Africa begins

More Giacchino

lphoi2afrikakkkorps001.jpg

leopard2a4.jpg

As night came, an entire division of highly advanced tanks advanced against the Ultramarines position. Strange beams of red light came from them, but they obviously were not like the ray guns, they were being used to track down what to kill.

mortar1.jpg

Surrounded by enemies, they made their stand while a barrage of all kinds of artillery proceeded through the battlefields of that quiet jungle, the crews were completely overstaffed by calls of support against the incoming menaces. The Ultramarines had very little in anti-tank weaponry, and area denial through barrages of artillery was one of their best bets. Combined arms of power armor infantry with those far advanced tanks made for a formidable enemy. They had to hold them through whichever means they could, yet slowly the enemy gained ground. They were not sure if they'd hold until reinforcements came, but now it was too late to turn their backs and retreat.

lphoi2afrikakkkorps002.jpg

While the Air Marines made their brave stand in Tambacounda against powerful threats attacking from multiple sides, Iceland, of all countries, would give technology freely to the UDMS-KKK. Considering that all that is left of the Kwanzanian fleet that stand a chance against the enemy is made of submarines(which can be replenished with not so obsolete new ones), this will be a very useful gift.

lphoi2afrikakkkorps003.jpg

deitz325.jpg

lphoi2afrikakkkorps005.jpg

Their brave stand worked, and with the arrival of the reinforcements from the sea, the tide of the battle was turned. For the first time in 5 years, an human soldier would step over Africa, the land where hundreds of thousands died, chased by the dreaded tripods, after their failed attempt to defend Suez. A land where humanity had no victories before, only misery and suffering. Mourning for the losses of many good men who gave their lives to allow for countless of European soldiers to escape from the Mediterranean and save America from an inevitable doom. The beginning of the end was done. Many strategic options lied ahead. The plan for now is to use Africa only as a springboard to open a new front into Europe and the Mediterranean.

lphoi2afrikakkkorps006.jpg

Shortly after such first victory, the first armored divisions with Baneblade brigades are ready for deployment. They shall also come to Africa, they shall be the spearheads, the primary weapons of humanity against the Tripods. And the first lines of defence.

lphoi2afrikakkkorps007.jpg

Weakened by their failed offensive, the enemies are quickly dispatched from Dakkar, and thus the first encirclements of enemy forces are soon to happen while retreating tanks are to be bombed mercilessly.

lphoi2afrikakkkorps008.jpg

To prevent it from being occupied by the enemy, several soldiers embark on a Spanish territory. Due to the impossibility of doing strategic redeployments, most of them are ordered to head to the depths of the Sahara desert. So far, the greatest challenge of the operation has been to keep everything running and supplied through deserts with absolutely no road or infrastructure in them.

lphoi2afrikakkkorps009.jpg

A long march through the deserts begin, but the endurance of the Air Marines is not something that is argued about. The UDMS-KKK doesn't trust Franco, and has other plans for Iberia that involve liberty and democracy. Spain is nothing and Franco was reduced to a banana republic tinpot dictator with delusions of grandeur.

lphoi2afrikakkkorps010.jpg

u-boat-25.jpg

Meanwhile, with enemies cutted off a supply line, the aliens send more transport convoys to be slaughtered, although that is not going to make much of a difference strategically, for these enemies won't take long to be defeated, hopefully. There were no signs of tripods yet in Africa.

lphoi2afrikakkkorps011.jpg

In fact, it seems the aliens majority of forces might be quite shitty, at least in Africa. Zombies that most times didn't have even guns. They were creepy and disgusting, but their threat level was far smaller.

lphoi2afrikakkkorps012.jpg

The enemy however seems to be tracking all UDMS-KKK operations. Every time major transports of troops by sea happens, they send fleets to harass them. The surface fleet of the UDMS-KKK however was seriously pounded in the grim battle of the English Channel, and it would take at least two years for it to be rebuilt.

The only hope now lied upon the brave U-boat commanders. Could a large enough quantity of submarines stand a chance against nuclear aircraft carriers and extremely advanced and modern destroyers?

lphoi2afrikakkkorps013.jpg

das-boot.jpg

They had to. The lives of countless soldiers and merchant fleets crewmen were at stake. Thus dozens of submarines prepared to attack that small but dangerous enemy fleet. To get close enough to destroy their most powerful ships. First they came to a small screen of destroyers conducting anti-submarine missions.

lphoi2afrikakkkorps014.jpg

belgrano_sinking.jpg

And they prevailed through superior numbers and coordination between submarines made possible only thanks through reverse-engineering of alien technologies. Their chase was not over yet, however. This time the submarines would be hunting not for convoys, but for warships. A bear might kill a lone wolf, but not a big wolfpack.

lphoi2afrikakkkorps015.jpg

Dakar is quickly secured, the enemies now were simply waiting for the slaughter to come.

lphoi2afrikakkkorps016.jpg

Bathrust was an "easy" battle compared to how things usually fared when facing these aliens. And as soon as it was over Port Ettiene was immediately attacked. The poor equipment of the alien forces and the fact they were outnumbered meant they would fall, despite the river between them and the AfrikaKKKorps.

lphoi2afrikakkkorps017.jpg

das-boot-5.png

Then, while the battle for Ettiene was going on, one of the submarines watchmen crews finally found their primary target. This would be a tough battle despite the numerical advantage.

lphoi2afrikakkkorps018.jpg

USS_Oriskany_sinking.jpg

Struck by nearly ten torpedoes, the aliens flagship, a nuclear or whatever powered aircraft carrier, sinks to the bottom of the ocean. This is the first time a so advanced aircraft carrier is destroyed in a naval battle between relatively large fleets. Many U-boat aces shall be famous today for this feat. However, it came at price.

lphoi2afrikakkkorps019.jpg

Air strikes finished off the last signs of resistance of the enemy in Etienne.

lphoi2afrikakkkorps020.jpg

The patriots who lost their lives in the Battle of Cintra shall never be forgotten. This is the first time in history a surface fleet was defeated by a submarine fleet in direct engagement. A day that may reduce the taint left by the tragic Battle of the English Channel.

lphoi2afrikakkkorps021.jpg

New reinforcements arrive. the Finns are probably going through hard times adapting to radically different weathers from those they were used to, but they are great men, and among those who headed for Africa, a still alive legend was included: Simo Hayha would most likely participate actively of the great battles to come in the liberation of Africa, Europe and Asia.

lphoi2afrikakkkorps022.jpg

lphoi2afrikakkkorps024.jpg

lphoi2afrikakkkorps025.jpg

lphoi2afrikakkkorps026.jpg

The damaged enemy fleet is hunted down, and after several battles the enemy takes a new loss in the naval war of the African West Coast. Meanwhile, now the great struggle would begin. Those weak forces defending Port Etienne were definitively not the best of the 1300+ divisions the enemy had at their disposal. Many dangers could greet them as the brave patriots of the AfrikaKKKorps advanced through West Africa. But their beachhead was now secure, thanks to the bravery of the Air Marines.

There was still a growing opinion about not using Africa as a "springboard for Suez and Iberia", but for actually wiping out immediately all enemy forces in Africa and liberate this continent from the aliens first than alll others, while securing the Suez. It was a riskier alternative, but it could bring far greater strategic victories if successful.

The Battle for Africa has begun.

The Battle for Europe was not so far from beginning.
