I am not so sure that notes would be good idea. Carlos found some beer pads and used one to write message but it was pretty small and who knows how they would react after waking up without memory again. If any of them would suggest these "new" notes were made by Zero to miss guide them then its wasted effort. If they have access to paper and pens, they should be writing notes to themselves each time they wake up, so they can know what happened the last time they were awake. Pretty big plot hole.
I wonder where they really are. In the previous two games the actual location of the game was a pretty big twist both times. Mars? I think I remember VLR saying something about a parallel nonary game taking place on Mars while there was also one on Earth?
I thought it was moved to adventure gaming but now its back in jrpg section?Imma let you finish, but thread should be moved to some more inclined subforum, like weeboo. GG is just not good enough.
Just sayin'.

Really fucking disappointing, shitons of lame twists and some of the most embarrassing deus ex machina ever.
There was no deus ex machina in the game. Everything that is later revealed as a plot twist exists in the game from the start, in fact once the truth is revealed you can notice it being foreshadowed multiple times in earlier fragments. Sometimes even in the game's title, status screen, or the previous game.
You clearly don't know what a deux ex machina is. The fax machine is the very definition of it. AlsoIt would a deus ex machina if it was introduced at the last moment to save the plot. It was there right from the start.
