Does anyone know if there were originally any plans to make the Rynjin another possible race to ally with originally and Sirtech simply ran out of time and funds, or were they actually simply just a barbaric and savage race to fight. They seem to have some culture to them if they are simply brutal warriors, what with their religion and temple building (assuming they built it).

Can you post a pic of them. I can't remember which race they were off the top of my head for whatever reason.

Barbaric, tribal, butt-ugly fish people with frog legs and mind raping prowess.

Quite memorable, especially if you had lizardman/dracon in your party or didn't have soul shield and magic screen up.

I'm thinking not, for two reasons. Firstly, lorewise they seem to hate pretty much all outsiders, to the point where I just can't imagine them working with anyone else, or accepting a surface-dweller. Secondly, they are insanely more powerful than any of the other factions - the Rapax are a distant 2nd, and even the Rapax aren't available as an end-game ally (they won't help you on the mountain, and from memory you need to go hostile to them to leave their area once you've finished their quest chain).

Not sure if the Rynjin could beat Saxx'ed up Umpanis toting Blunderbusses. A Commander has up to 9 shots with his gun doing 2d24 damage. Of course the Rhinos will need Saxx :)

Or you go for the "best" expert skill: Iron will.
This would require me to pump all the points possible into piety for all party members.

Doesn't seem so hot unless you really want this kind of thing and lead the party consisting of mix of dwarves and furries (of rawulf kind).
