Cyberpunk is their bestselling game and paid for itself with it's 7 mil. preorders.
Very doubtful if we go by CDPR's numbers for Witcher 3.

Cyberpunk 2077 also had a huge budget, I believe it was at least 200 million dollars including the advertising budget.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt sold six million copies in its first six weeks of sale, CD Projekt RED’s latest financial results (slide 11) reveal.

CD Projekt RED has reportedly generated 236 million Polish Zloty in net profit for the first half of the year, or $63.3 million USD. The Witcher 3 had a 306 million Polish Zloty budget, or $82 million USD.

CDPR having a deal with Xbox for a special console version must have something to do with Sony removing the game from their store in wake of the bad PR tsunami.
