(...snip) I though my question was pretty clear.
I'll make it clearer, just for you:Not at all.

I've seen your topic and I don't get what's so great about it. Having only closed dungeons instead of an open world is a massive decline to me. Also, it's not in English, and playing along separate guide/translation seems like a pain (are the dialogs even translated?).Wizardry Busin 0 Alternative Neo

It wasn't published by anyone.Does that mean that Stones of Arnhem would count? I mean, it wasn't published by Sir Tech...

Not true, SoA was being made by the team consisting of Max Phipps, Phil Moore, Michael Shamgar and Cleve while Grimoire is 100% Cleve's magnum opus.Grimwah is stones of arnhem after 20 years of development
so, I'm confused as to what you wantNot true, SoA was being made by the team consisting of Max Phipps, Phil Moore, Michael Shamgar and Cleve while Grimoire is 100% Cleve's magnum opus.Grimwah is stones of arnhem after 20 years of development
Yes.you wanted a Wizardry branded game.
Yes.those have nothing to do with actual Wizardry games.
Dungeons are the core of Wizardry and any self-respecting dungeon crawler. If you want a world crawler, you might want to play Might & Magic instead.Having only closed dungeons instead of an open world is a massive decline to me.
So there's not even one good Jap made Wizardry in the open world style of 6-8?Most Wizardry games from Japan follow Wizardry 1-5 rather than 6-8, so chances of getting exactly what you want are pretty slim.
Why does it have to be Japanese? So there's not even one good Jap made Wizardry in the open world style of 6-8?Most Wizardry games from Japan follow Wizardry 1-5 rather than 6-8, so chances of getting exactly what you want are pretty slim.
It doesn't but apparently most (all?) non Sir-Tech Wizardry games are Japanese. Why does it have to be Japanese?
As far as I'm aware, no. You're welcome to enjoy Wizards & Warriors and Grimoire instead. So there's not even one good Jap made Wizardry in the open world style of 6-8?Most Wizardry games from Japan follow Wizardry 1-5 rather than 6-8, so chances of getting exactly what you want are pretty slim.
Already did. You're welcome to enjoy Wizards & Warriors and Grimoire instead.
Japs never evolved past Wizardry15. Every JRPG ever made is just Wizardry15 with a different gimmick or coat of paint on it.

Is this really as good as it gets for non mainland entries?
