I don't think it's evil and shit, i think it's just another click-baity publicity stunt that will probably help huge-budeg popamoles get even more publicity, but since most internet seems to do that i don't really give a shit (i expect most codexers to whine about it though).

From 2014, i only remember playing Shovel Knight, Dark Souls 2 and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. Lost Alpha if you count mods. At least these games are good, can't say the same for the rest.
