I think sometimes Watched Threads doesn't let me know when there are new posts. Or I don't understand how it works.

"This message is awaiting moderator approval": All new users must pass through our moderation queue before they will be able to post normally. Until your account has "passed" your posts will only be visible to yourself (and moderators) until they are approved. Give us a week to get around to approving / deleting / ignoring your mundane opinion on crap before hassling us about it. Once you have passed the moderation period (think of it as a test), you will be able to post normally, just like all the other retards.

New post = notification.
No NEW notifications will occur until you look at the thread.
So a hundred billion replies could have occured since you got notified, but if you haven't visited the thread since you got notified, then you won't get notified about any new posts, because technically you've already been notified that there are new posts.

I understand now. What I've essentially barked about here is that it doesn't work like an alarm clock snooze button. And it doesn't, and isn't going to.
