...or not?
Website says on the tin:
'VGAP was arguably the first space strategy game, and its creator (Tim Wisseman) is dedicated to it and has been improving it for over 15 years.'
Current version released April, 2008.
At a loose end as far as it goes, at the moment. Options: SEV is getting there slowly, with modders' AI work, Kwok and the rest. We'll see. GC2/Twilight of Arnor seems a clinical, sterile experience -huge tidal waves of nothingness engulf after the third turn or thereabouts, even in an immense galaxy.
Stars! was great in it's day, but never tried it as PBEM. So, is VGAP worth a look?
Opinions, please, ladies and gentlemen.
