It's all 'stealth action' as far as I'm understanding it, with some being 'invisible chop-heads-off' stealth (BH) and some being 'stealth but then punch em to death real fast' (Brujah). Tremere get 'stealth and then dissolve the bodies like dishonoured'. Can't remember if Ventrue are the other clan but that'll be 'stealth and then make enemies punch each other'.

Still not sure where the Masquerade comes in to any of this, have we seen any civilians or gameplay sections where civilians are a factor? Confused as F as to what this is even supposed to be. There are clearly some walking sections where u explore enough to go meet your clan heads so hopefully there's some room for surprises here.

The Chinese Room is a British video game developer...

Hmm OK, my people are responsible for Tomb Raider, XCOM, Hogs of War, Manhunt and many other games I like. Not quite the same pedigree as the Americans or Japanese, but plenty good shit. Maybe they can deliver, which now that I think about it, I cannot think of any good british Role-playing video games. Hmm...

...based in Brighton that is best known for exploration games.

Ah Brighton. I used to live near there. Degenerate asf like most urban areas in the nation, but one of the nicer places to visit which isn't saying much. However, it is gay central, and what does gayness equate to these days? Liberal extremism/retardation. Game is likely doomed.

The company originated as a mod team for Half-Life 2

:betrayed:on arrival.

Who the fuck mods that shit game?

Who knows when this is coming out, and even when it comes out, it's going to need 2 years of patching and content at bare minimum to even be acceptable to a genre veteran. And probably there is going to be a crucial mod or two that's needed on top of that.

That is so sad and pathetic, I could almost cry. Please let this trash get cancelled or at least rebranded.
I'm okay with six clans if they all play distinctively different from each other.
That's very hilariously optimistic of you. They can barely make unique clothes, let alone unique looking characters, and now you want them to actually invest some effort into unique gameplay per clan?

They will, considering its one (1) whole unique mechanic per clan. Everything else is a mix n match. So far the unique clan skills have been uninspiring.

Might get some unique flavour dialogue lines if we being optimistic I guess?

At least they finally showed that they do indeed seem to have a male model, unless the guy with the piercing isn't the player but an NPC.

I swear, they could have represented Banu Haqim with the outfit of the far right concept the day it was announced.

This is the "male" dumpsterphyre, isn't it?

Gender is soooo meaningless these days.

At least they finally showed that they do indeed seem to have a male model, unless the guy with the piercing isn't the player but an NPC.

Piercings? The MC has never had any in gameplay videos so it must be an NPC. No fun or flavor allowed for MCs.

The DLC announcements are gonna be a problem no matter what they go with. Everyone has vastly different expectations. I for one will be displeased if ASSamites (I refuse to call them by their new faggotass name) turn out to be the only new clan we get. I don't want to see the old ones returning at all. In truth, the more I think about this, the more I believe that their best bet would've been to make Pyre a Caitiff and then let the players pick their Disciplines, Merits and Flaws.

Lol this thing getting dlc. Hope they offer refunds on the season pass or whatever the fuck.
It's Paradox...

I was just making a snide remark implying that this game will get savaged on release and that the planned DLC will probably get canceled (even for Paradox) or be more lol-worthy than the base game.

Seeing how steam reviewers are very critical these days (there's a very strong subcurrent of rage among gaming consumers and devs are entirely oblivious to it and continuing to feed it, like the idiots they are), this is peak popcorn material.

Honestly, it's not entirely professional for me (as an esteemed creator of porn games that nobody buys) to trash a studio like this, but I'm just so thoroughly disgusted by the incompetence of these people and numerous others like them.

They should not be making games. They should not be given the resources to make games.

It's just a thinly-veiled attempt at capitalizing on all those wishlists and pre-orders.

Yeah when you think about it...Does Paradox publish/produce anything that is complete at launch? Also they develop Stellaris/etc right? What else is solely in their production sector?

Two Thrones, Crusader Kings series, Europa Universalis series, Hearts of Iron series, Imperator: Rome, March of the Eagles, Sengoku, Victoria series.

All in all, their focus was always on grand strategy games.
