Didn't hurt D:OS in 2014.
Didn't hurt D:OS in 2014.
Torment is no competition for underrail... Underrail has no competition from the last decade of crpg gaming.Isn't he guaranteed it this year? Next year has Torment has a potential competitor.
This RPGOTY will be a challenge... Twitcher 3 potatoes, Fallout 4 trolls, Pillars of Eternity sawyerites, Shadowrun:HK fanboys, Age of Decadence worshipers, D:OS/W2 Director's Cut slowpokes, Way of the Samurai 4 & Lighting Returns weaboos, cursed Serpent in the Staglands fans and Undertale tumblrinas.
Another gentleman from steam shares his views, this time in more words and coherent sentences!
I played the demo a couple of years ago but have no recollection of the combat being hard. Has it become so?
Oh yeah, forgot that Eisenwald got out o Early Acess. And the Banner Saga devs aren't in speaking terms with the Codex since they did a 180 in their KS goals from "more depth to inventories" to "muh live orchestra!".Let's hope the Legends of Eisenwald and Banner Saga 2 devs don't notice this post.

Neither are really RPG. I mean, if they're RPG, you need to also include something like Renowned Explorers (which, in terms of being actually fun to play, fucks pretty much everything that has gone out this year).
Has Styg mentioned if he would consider touching up the story elements/C&C?
Some of the criticism I've seen, has been about the story. People sayin' it's sufficient and fitting, but not really mindblowingly deep or interesting.
It wouldn't hurt to add abit extra flavour in that department.
Very accurate. Very. It's basically The Sims with guns and visuals ripped off from F1/2 art assets.
Yeah. Much of the quality of writing criticism has been targeted at the early game and specifically early game NPCs. Pretty sure there are going to be touch-ups when the devs get to revamping the early content.
But the story only really kicks in once the player returns the drill parts and the south metro tunnel is cleared. I doubt that'll fundamentally change. As for C&C, there's a good bit of it even in Junkyard, so I really don't know what people are expecting.
STYG I NEED THE NEXT UPDATE RIGHT NOW, I SERIOUSLY CAN'T WAIT ANYMORE IT'S BEEN SEVEN MONTHS ARHGHGGGHGHBBGBRRRLL
