Some tracks from Rock and Roll Racing, by Silicon and Synapse aka Blizzard. These verions of the songs for the SNES game sound better than the orginals in some cases. Blizzard should stop making all this Diablo and Starcraft and such nextgen shit and make Rock and Roll Racing 3. You know you want it.

I would agree with you, but I hadn't payed too much attention. Don't blame me, mango. Can you recommend any particular song (if it's on Youtube)? Even as far as the soundtrack is concerned, modders can repair it.

I'm asking out of curiosity, because I know how much modders can improve a game.

Would post a vid from youtube if I knew the name of the tracks, sadly the mod I'm thinking of put in new music not by chaning the export_descr_music file but through placing in new files and naming them the same as the old ones. Though I could upload them on some site, tomorrow though.

If you got the mod I'm thinking of Stainless Steel 6.2 with Real Recruitment / Real Combat 1.3 mod compliation the track would be named ghosts_of_the_loch.mp3, though you would have to use an idx extractor to get the files out of the .dat file. The files already placed in /sounds/music/ are orginal game tracks.
