Borderlands was a fun game to kill a bit of time. Throw in a proper RPG design and it can be good.

I'll wait for more information but for now we can at least confirm that this isn't some medium-budget effort but a proper AAA RPG.

The game looks like a cross of Mass Effect and Fallout: New Vegas with a 1920s retrofuturism vibe.

Don't worry guys, the game will be alright. The trailer just wasn't very good. Or something.

Screenshots look much better than the trailer. The super narrow FOV in gameplay bits sure didn't help.

Were people actually expecting something like a Bloodlines? Pretty obvious from the outset it was going to be an action RPG and in all honesty this is still better then I was expecting given it's first person and I was expecting a third person style action game with a few dialogue choices.

The publisher is not going to pay for an 100 man team to make some obscure title so you can pretty much expect a game that plays like Fallout 4 and best case scenario it has enough of New Vegas in the rest of the game.

I assume that for you to have such a strong opinion, you surely have played through Red Dead Redemption 2, right? No one would be so retarded as to form an opinion on a game before ever touching it, right?
I played it while being guest in my friends house (since I have no console on my own), just decided why the fuck people hyped about and got impression that many people got brainwashed by marketing. My friend btw was less critical opinion, but still he wasn't impressed either.

What you imagined in your head and the reality will never meet your expectations. It will be probably fun game... I dont have problem with that art style or the AAA papamole direction.

PS: Im curious if Starfield will be similar to this game, it could at least setting wise, aaa rpg, first person etc...
