Personally, I felt the Legion was more creative than the other (largely) antagonistic factions of the Unity (epitome of a simple concept done well) and the Enclave (bit of a mess that became a meme).
Though the cut content makes it a bit hard for me to understand a lot of them. I want this thread to be an archive on information for what the Legion was intended to be and any cut content relating to them.
Some general questions:
-The Legion pride themselves on being strictly hierarchical yet the progression seems very minimalistic. As far as I can tell, it goes from slave to slave without explosives around their neck (that live in Legion territory) to soldier to higher rankings of military personal? Are truly higher rankings chosen by Caesar personally and do they all directly relate to the military?
-What exactly is the Legion economy like? Above the slavestate (of another slavestate), it's said that citizens have basically no responsibilities yet almost no rights either. Is it borderline communist or socialist? There is a mention of taxation but how much privatization is allowed within Legion territory? Is it largely a resource based economy? How does this fit into their views of meritocracy?
