I have 10 free keys for GF2.

The first ten people who will ask for a free key will get it, but they need to ask me both in the PMs of codex, and in a DM in Steam.

The reason I give free keys is so you will have a chance to win 30 USD without spending money.

The first person that achieve the "Golden Rise" achievement in GF2(basically finishing the game), will get 30 USD in steam gift/credit.

I am so frustrated that no one is able to finish the game.

The last level is especially hard, but it's possible to win it.

Instructions to participate:

1. Send me a DM here that you participate in the GF2 challenge, with your steam name.
2. Send me a DM in Steam, with your user name in Codex and that you want a Steam Key(You may buy or use your existing copy of GF2, no need to get a steam key).
3. Once you get the "Golden Rise" achievement, DM me on Steam.
(Kutulu you may not participate as you have a big advantage in the game. I hope you understand).

It's also available on XBOX btw, and I am going to port it to Switch as well.

Damn. That witch with the 3 gold titans is pretty hard.

I will give you tip...
Try to kill the golden titans at the same time.
What I mean is... if you attack them, don't focus on one of them, just attack each one, one after the other.
This way they will all die almost the same time, then you won't have to face the wich with titans left.
As long as the witch is not close to you while there are still titans, it will be better.
And yes, you probably need to have more healing potions than mana potions.

Yeah.

You should also look which bonuses you are getting from stats.
Mostly str + dex give bonuses to heavy weapons.
Int with combination of dex or str give bonuses mostly for swords.

Finess weapons now have more than one path for damage/attack with stats. I need to update this.

Edit: I might also give unlimited potions to buy on last level, so you won't end up not having enough healing potions to buy.

Yeah i will do.
It was fun. A clear improvement from GF 1. I liked the puzzles and the secrets more here.
Only for the puzzle with the two yellow platforms you could give a little tip somewhere in the level.
Everything else was pretty clear.

The systems are ok. I saw that you explain them outside of the game but it would be better imo if they were ingame.
Just maybe textboxes plopping up when you hover over the attributes/weapons.
So that the player knows what attributes do and what weapons go with what attribute.

Have you played it with different builds? Because sometimes it feels like one of the spells is just outright better than the other.

Fury >>> Magic Zap
Cleave <<< Magic Projectiles
Stun <<< Skeletons

Dont know about the last one since i only had fireball but that one seems pretty weak.

But all in all it was fun.

Yea, you also get bonuses for skills from your stats. So some skills/spells are better with more int and some are with more str.

So sometimes you might pick a skill that won't be good later on because you didn't pick "the right" attribute.

Ah that explains that.

I finished it with a magic user and skeletons.

My other character was just leveling up strength and taking combat spells.
The spider/Rin level is extremely though this way. Is it even doable?

You can do with a fighter build. but I think you need more str+dex or at least str+dex+int, but int alone or int without dex would be tough
