People said the Xan mod was good. It wasn't. I guess it could've appealed to certain personalities at a certain age, but for me, it was always way too wordy and way too empty. And I was literally sexually aroused by the concept of Chloe.

There was also Valen npc mod. Wanted to try it, but found it busted, unbalanced.

Being honest, most of the mods were trash. But they were the only new content we were going to get.

You haven't known an RPG drought until you're playing whatever rapey incest mod for Baldur's Gate and thinking it's good for what it is.

I guess I was busy playing other genres, as well as being fine with replaying bg2 for the 7th time. I know some people were replaying those games over 30 times though, so I can see them getting desperate. My final tally is ~15 for bg2 at this point.

Anyway, I'm just playing the Balduran's Island content from TotSC (not my first time ofc, but it has been a few years, and I may be getting Alzheimer's) and I'm really enjoying the language degradation presented by the inhabitants. It's just not the sort of writing I expect from those games.

how to finetune the xp so i can dual a fighter of 13 lvl to a mage with the minimum downtime? i plan to buy/steal every scroll available but that amounts to around 800-850k xp and i need 1,5 million for mage 14 if i remember correctly.

Are you enjoying all the Werewolf fights? Seriously, fuck those fights...
Never liked Balduran Island...
Durlag's Tower is the best part of Tales of The Sword Coast. One of the best dungeon crawling experiences in a game.

Yes. It's not worse than some other offenders, and they are reasonably difficult on insane scs with damage scaling. The tight crashed ship fights were lots of fun.

Durlag's Tower is amazing and I believe I only finished it once despite playing through the game at least 5 times. I'm taking a break for now, but it's going to be a blast when I come back.

That regeneration is nuts.
Just never liked the fights. You pretty much need to use that stupid dagger or bastard sword to fight them.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Throwing up at that screenshot. How can anyone play with those awful fucking black outlines?
That is Beamdog's Clown Mode. Real cucks leave it on.

There should be days assigned to the Codex that remind us of the stupidity of developers. Like once a year we get "Beamdog's black outlines on characters matter" day. And stuff like that.

BG3 bear sex day for the furries. Just so we know who they are.

Codex Holidays sound nice. There could be one for every month. We could even create our own calendar. However, I wonder if that might make us inadvertently mimic the cringe culture that we dislike. Every fucktard has their own day, week, or month nowadays where they sniff their own farts.

On dev stupidity day it might be fun to have everyone simply list all sorts of development-related absurdities that come to mind. Then, feed all of that information to an AI capable of creating a visually sexy infographic or word cloud. However, I think there is nonzero chance of that getting censored by any public AI. So we would have to use some kind of code, like encoding our responses to base64. But is any AI not going to see through that? Maybe they are still stupid enough. Of course, that would make it impossible for the AI to code the responses into common categories needed to create a word cloud in the first place. In any case, I wonder if they got the idea for black outlines from their furry porn?

Instructions without typos and shit formatting:

For those who bought the Enhanced Edition and aren't able to install the originals versions, you can need to follow a sequence of steps to get them:
  1. Go to your library with an internet browser.
  2. Click on the picture of the Enhanced Edition of the game in your shelf. This will open a pop-up box to manage the game and its goodies.
  3. Click the "MORE" button near "TRY GOG GALAXY".
  4. Select "SERIAL KEYS". This will show the name of the game and a website address (URL) to a redeem code.
  5. Follow the URL, which will validate the redeem code and add the original versions to your GOG library.
Does this still work? I am AT the PAGE and NOTHING is showing up. Excuse me, I am not SHOUTING at YOU but into the NEVER-ENDING-DESCENT-INTO-DECLINE ABYSS that PLAGUES THIS CURRENT AGE. It seems to me they changed something because I am not seeing "MORE" in my library and when I go to the Store page, there is no MORE option either. Hey GOG, how about you add MORE sticks up your ass? Oh wait, it's already full? Can't fit anymore? I am so sick of this garbage. GOG, I dub thee decline. Making it a roundabout chore to access A TWENTY-YEAR-OLD GAME. Let that sink in. I mean I'd rather deal with this than find blood in my urine I guess but it's alarmingly close.:argh: :argh: :argh:

EDIT: Sorry, found it. I may be a giant retard, but I am a giant retard with taste. It's absurd it isn't easier to access and it requires this hyper-autistic specific way. Oh, you're in the game in GOG Galaxy? Nope! You looked it up in the library? Also nope! You have to access your library FROM THE STORE PAGE! And then scroll down and click MORE so you can lose MORE brain cells by dealing with this utterly asinine process. I think I am going to have MORE blood pressure. We are in the decline dark ages, full force clown world. Where good games are held hostage behind offensively needless procedures so you can play the woke version which adds things that actively make a TWENTY-YEAR-OLD-GAME worse. You WILL play the Clown version of BG, you wigger! Enjoy your stay!

Enhanced edition of what? I had to check my archive and found them but not through Galaxy. I avoid that.

What's there to censor in the first place?
Things like Half-Orcs having -2 INT. Fantasy racial slurs. Romance options being locked to race and sex.

Or rewrites to Safana from the expansion being carried back to the original game.

they didn't censor anything in BG1. the only thing they did was add those shitty companions, and they learned for the later EE's to not mess with them at all.
