<strong>[ Update ]</strong>

<p>The original Super Nintendo version of the greatest game ever named after a Queen song, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tactics_Ogre:_Let_Us_Cling_Together" target="_blank"><strong>Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together</strong></a>, has been completely <a href="http://agtp.romhack.net/news.php?date=2010-04-08+02%3A16%3A12" target="_blank">translated by Aeon Genesis</a>. Be aware, though, that this is pretty much the same as the Playstation translation, just wrapped in the more convenient SNES version.
</p><p>For more Tactics Ogre goodness, head over to the local <a href="http://www.rpgcodex.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=42655&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0" target="_blank">Let's Play thread</a> for the somewhat inferior Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis.

This is one of Japan's best RPGs, I'd probably suggest it's the best one.

Just too bad the patch doesn't work on ZNES :(

Yes, it does. I just loaded it up. Make sure the rom is v1.2 and make sure the rom and the patch have the same filename. I'm using the latest version of ZNES from the official site and the rom from Rom Hustler.

My understanding from other forums is that while it loads in ZNES, it has some serious graphical corruption issues with the menus so you may be better off using SNES9x.

I love this game.

What's the differences between the PSX and SNES versions?

To OSK: There's not really any difference as far as I can tell.

Hmm, I'm about 15 minutes in and haven't noticed any problems yet. I'll let you know if I do.

edit:
The loadtimes on the PS version are fucking ridiculous. I have a copy and it's a headache.
Yep, the SNES version sidesteps that issue.

Only with this game. When I first can review my party, for example the item page and the magic page are black, only the cursor can be seen.

Snes9x seems to run it smoothly.

What a shame, I like ZSNES much more.
