I mean, your starter pistol should be able to carry you to the second boss or so if you need it to. It's pretty much impossible to not find a decent weapon by then.

Some pistols when upgraded are pretty much decent primary weapons, coil pistol being my favourite

Got this today, while playing with an IRL friend. This game is 11/10, one of the best things I played in a long time.

From the same run, this is my secondary weapon:

Beat the game after 55 hours of playing. Don't know why it took me quite that long to get through it, but it did start getting a lot easier after I switched from mostly playing Raider with the Kaida to playing Heavy Gunner with the Coil Pistol.
Maybe never caring to switch ammo types had something to do with how long it took, I didn't want to be bothered with such considerations.

Good game but the ending(?) left me a bit confused. I thought the credits would roll after hacking the Armageddon machine but then some sort of loop started. I picked up the Armageddon shard but that caused my demise after 3 rooms. I guess I wasn't supposed to do that. Can the loop be beaten or is it just a repetition of the game with increased difficulty?
