I agree. AoW is better for the campaign, it's closer to HoMM than MoM.

Nothing about my post is wrong, but you're free to disagree with my opinion on the game's potential. It's certainly mediocre right now. A lot of the aspects of gameplay are underdeveloped or just flat-out bad. But there are also a lot of cool ideas in the game. I think Kael is going to turn it around, it's just a matter of 'when'.

Like many of my fellow codexian suckers, I got this game back when it was in beta on blind optimism after GalCiv and SoaSE. Looking at these notes, it looks like enough core mechanics have been redone it might actually be an interesting game now. Will patch and try it out I guess... Probably won't have time befor enext week though. Does anyone have any insight to add?
