Is it just me or comic book stories always sound like utter trash?
It's easy to make them sound like trash when they're summarized like that.

Is it just me or comic book stories always sound like utter trash?A couple of years ago there was an event where every universe collided with another universe, and thereby ending all of reality as we know it. The final two universes to collide were the Official Marvel Universe (Earth 616) and the Ultimate Marvel Universe (Earth 10xx-something). All of reality was then reshaped by Dr. Doom, who became its God.
A handful of characters from those two last universes managed to hide away in an escape pod and crash in Dr. Doom's reshaped reality. One of them was Miles Morales. When reality was 'corrected', Miles was one of a handful of non-Earth 616 characters to survive the process and find themselves in the newly restored Official Marvel Universe. Old Man Logan (a grey-haired Wolverine) is another such character.
So which Spiderman series is actually a good one? I always wanted to read a comic, but every time I looked it up, I cringed hard.Depends of the universe and the author. This is the main issue with the all the classic long running comic series.

The Punisher isn't a hero. He's a psychotic vigilante.
The Punisher is the only real hero. Guys like Batman, Captain America, Iron Man, Superman etc. are just public masturbators. Go back in history and p much everybody hailed as a hero mostly engaged in the brutal slaughter of monsters and villains.
By that definition firefighters aren't heroes but Muslim terrorist are.
Btw. what happened with these?
Wrong, the Spiderman one is superior. The arkham one is like a gypsy slut.ah, another thing the arkham games did better. Catwoman > Blacc Cat
I'm about 2 hours in, right where he got his new suit and here are some of my early thoughts. The web slinging feels pretty good and the fighting is satisfying. I love how he dodges with B-kicks, slides under enemies and flips around them. The animation looks great. I chose the hard difficulty on my first playthrough and I thought it was pretty funny how I beat Kingpin and his henchmen with rocket launchers but then I died on the street fighting a random group of gang members. Didn't like the parts where you play as Peter Parker and solve boring puzzles. It would be better if they were more adventure style instead of just connecting a circuit on a tablet. For example to fix robot arm it would be cool if you'd have to find a spare part of damaged hardware in the lab and replaced it and then use the sequence to debug it. Maybe that kind of stuff will be introduced later in the game but I was in the workshop/lab twice and there were same puzzles with slowly increasing difficulty. I was surprised by how bad the character faces look. Just finished Beyond: Two Souls and the characters in that game look so much more realistic and that's a PS3 game. Something just feels off about Peter's face. I don't know if he was modelled after real person but I swear I could see a bit of Andrew Garfield in him. I like his voice but his spider-cop jokes were fucking annoying.
Doing flips as Spidey reminded me how much I loved tricking and it made me move my ass and for last 2 hours I was doing handstands and handsprings. Tomorrow I'll work on my B-kick. It's been 10 years since I last did parkour/tricking (knee injury) and this game made me get up and start again.
Anyone who thinks that ridculous pitch should be in-game instead of the perfect one that we got, is an embodiment of decline and retardation.
It's now 20 dollars. Started playing it on Friday...
I don't think I'm getting a PlayStation 5. I'll stick with PC and maybe Nintendo.
